Knowing The Ways!

“For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.” (Psalm 1:6 NKJV)

When I rise and when I raise up,

When I sleep and when I fall tired,

When and why I laugh,

When and why I cry,

When and why I raise my hands in praise,

When and why I drop my head in guilt,

Whatever I do, say, see, or hear,

Whatever moves me–to love or doubt,

There is nothing I can do or think,

That He does not already know about.

He knows all about me and should

Since He is The Who created me

And chose me before I was ever born,

Knew while I still a thought in my parents’ minds,

One day, they would be gone, and I would be left behind.

But because of His love and the path He planned,

Even when I fell short, I could count on His Loving Hand,

Bringing me back where I belonged, so He could teach

Me all I needed about right and wrong so I could preach

His Word as He taught, and walk in His anointing, ordained

By His love, saved by His grace, kept by His mercy,

Forever grateful for His favor, unearned, but given,

Like wisdom and faith, without measure, my choice in choosing,

Following Him and allowing Him–to have me in using,

All He’s given to promote, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Just like He knows about me, He knows about you, and you, and you! Hallelujah!

We Can Have What We Ask!

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you”(John 15:16).

Before the foundation of the earth was laid,

God, in His infinite wisdom, fulfilled plans made,

Choosing us, ordaining us to do His will

So we could ask, whatever we will,

In the name of Jesus and receive,

God’s promises to those who believe.

He knew, Him, we would not choose,

But loved us enough so we would not lose,

Opportunity to having a right relationship,

With Him, who created all things, for us to enjoy

Knowing without Him, Satan, would have our souls to whip,

Influencing our minds, treating us like unwanted toys,

Bruised and broken and ready to throw away,

But Jesus died on the cross, thwarting all Satan’s plans

Fulfilling God’s plans to make sure salvation for man

Became a reality and not just a plan. Now choosing is on us;

Will you receive Him, as your Savior, today

And come into His knowledge of mercy that is just?

The decision to choose to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, is not always an easy one for many people and the reason is–their unwillingness to give up those things that keep them from living right before God. Some make excuses, some attempt to justify, but I am here today; I just want to testify of God’s goodness for all He has chosen and ordained to bring forth fruit–in His name–telling everyone, everywhere I go–that Jesus is Lord and I know for myself that His promises are true; what He has done for me, He will also do for you because He is not a respecter of persons. What He does for one, He’ll do for others.

Try Him. Shake off the attitude of unbelief and believe in His goodness and know that He chose you from the beginning–to give you life abundantly without reservation and all you need to do is repent, receive, and believe that Jesus is and always will be, with you and you’ll never be alone. He loved you enough to die for you as part of the Father’s plan, will you love Him enough to live for Him–starting right now?

Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for hearts to be touched and souls to be won to the Kingdom for Your glory. We pray for them to find bible-based-teaching churches where their thirst for knowledge can be filled and ignited and fueled to share what they know with others, producing good fruit. We thank You for Your Word we can use as our guide for doing all things well at Your direction so others will know and receive You this day. Amen!

The World System!

“If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:19).

When Jesus was speaking to His disciples, He was letting them (and us) know that if the world could hate him (vs. 18), it would certainly hate anyone else whom He had chosen.  He chose the twelve who followed Him and one of them was a devil.

In the world’s (influenced by the enemy) system, there is honor among thieves, the embezzlers, the dishonorable politicians, the whores, and all of those influenced by the enemy.  They love one another and support and encourage each other and hate and denigrate anything or anyone who attempts to live a godly life.  That’s the world’s system.

Now if the world (those influenced by the enemy) can love its own, why can’t we? Why can’t all who proclaim to be believers love each other and support and encourage one another?  Why is it that those living by the world’s system appear to be doing more for each other than we do (appearances can be deceiving)?

Don’t get discouraged by the Word or by anyone else attempting to dissect it, including me.  My intent is not to discourage, but to point out that the first chosen–Jesus and His disciples–were the targets of hate and disdain.  So, why do we think people should treat us any differently, when we, too are chosen?  Celebrate being chosen and being hated by the world (we became targets for the enemy’s wrath), for if the world hates us–we are doing what we should do–promoting the Gospel and loving one another!  Hurray!  Glory Hallelujah!  “For by this shall we know one another, by our love for each other.”

Thank You God for choosing and saving me and for the world’s system, that I might be known as I promote The Gospel and love all!
