I am so tired of people saying–in defense of trump–“we don’t know his heart” and all who are saying this, profess to be Christians, with supposedly–a knowledge of God’s Word. Really? They don’t know his heart? Perhaps, it’s because they are not Christians, but hypocrites who have their heads so far up Dooflebutt’s behind they can hardly breathe. IF YOU BELIEVE THE BIBLE, YOU KNOW TRUMP’S HEART! PERIOD!

I challenge any and all so-called Christians to deny this truth–based upon The Word, not my opinions or theirs–whatever comes out of trump’s mouth is a demonstration of what’s in his heart. What we hear him say or see him tweet that fits the pattern demonstrated for a long time now, is who he is–a bigoted racist–and no matter how many photo ops are arranged with people of color surrounding will ever change who he is. He’s a con man, a manipulative gaslighter, and a pathological liar. If you think I’m wrong, prove it with something other than–your feelings. Document it.

Quick Review:

Obama wasn’t born in America and maligned him until Obama produced his birth certificate to shut him up and that didn’t work.

There is documentation of his racist views in denying people of color to occupy his apartments.

There is the documentation that he wanted 5 men of color executed–for no reason (after they were exonerated) other than their skin color.

He called Black NFL players SOBs because they dared to kneel during the playing of the National Anthem in protest of the racial injustice in this country. Note: The Black NFL players know the lyrics to the song–trump doesn’t and that’s documented as well.

He’s offended Gold Star families (Khan and Johnson).

He’s maligned a Congresswoman–Fredericka Wilkerson.

He belittled a judge because of his Hispanic heritage.

And with the latest comments–calling countries and the entire continent of Africa–s**thole countries, but wants immigrants from Norway (predominantly white nation), Everybody with a functioning brain–knows his heart–because whatever is in there–consistently–comes out of his mouth or his fingers. He loves the support he gets from his white supremacist base and that’s not going to change. Only people with low-functioning intelligence will continue support this hateful bigotry residing in the White House. But then, if people are supporting him and his racist agenda, it tells a lot about them.

It’s time to get real folks! We don’t need the rest of the world being contemptuous of us because of the malignancy haters elected with the help of Russia.

Get educated about all candidates in all elections.

Know the difference between factual information being presented and fake/constructed information–designed to con and manipulate emotions and actions.

Do the research and stop relying upon Fox Entertainment Network–no real news is coming from them–they entertain their audience with hateful rhetoric and scorn truth when others dare to present it.

Get out and vote! Complacency never experiences victory–only passion wins the day and people driven by passions, are driven into action.

The War Declared on America–Before 2016!

Before the election in November 2016, a coup was being planned by Russian operatives (with Putin’s blessings), and the Republican leadership, with Donald J. Trump and they declared war when they chose to accept financial support from Russian Oligarchs, with knowledge aforehand for Wikileaks to engage in questionable practices of cyber pilfering, conspired to rig the election in their favor. With the additional assistance of paid trolls and bots — they effectively duped and conned gullible “Hillary Haters” into believing all the nastiness they produced and promoted on social media, convincing them to vote for The Rapist.

On November 8, 2016 — with all the plans in place — the war ensued and the noxious Republicans were the victors and now they plan to gather the spoils of their war by further raping and pillaging the Treasury of the United States with their Tax Scam Bill. The tax cuts designed to “repay donors” will eventually dilute and diminish revenue sources needed to keep the government afloat, but that wasn’t enough for the Corrupt Greedy Old Predators. They also made sure they benefited mightily from the changes in tax structure so that while it seems the middle class benefits (if they make over $100K a year) — they don’t. Only the rich benefit — the poor and vulnerable will probably not survive for the next ten years. Cuts to healthcare assistance, education, and the roll back of consumer protection regulations will Kill Millions in America. The deaths of millions of America won’t bother the warmongers because then, they won’t have any opposition to Resist them and America will cease to be a democratic republic, but instead will be a dictatorship — led by Greedy Old Predators — who prey on the poor and vulnerable — no heart or compassion residing within.

Knowing the gullible will not read a 503 page document, the Greedy Old Predators proceed to lie to them, holding out a carrot of a couple of thousand dollars saved a year (for only one year), without explaining the tax cut is a temporary measure for them, but a permanent for the corporations whose CEOs have said, they don’t need the tax cuts and they will not invest the savings into creating jobs. Trickle-down economics has never worked and it won’t work now.

In addition to pilfering the Treasury (by The Rapists and the millions billed to the treasury), the Greedy Old Predators are also sitting back, twiddling their thumbs while The Rapist plans to ruin our national monuments and encroach upon Native American land — without thought or consideration as to what the damage will do — their only concern — is greed and since The Rapist is used to filing bankruptcy — it won’t bother him at all to bankrupt America, but the Greedy Old Predators are too blinded by their own greed to see what’s about to happen. At least that could be true of many, but certainly not Paul Ryan who has chafing at the bit to gut social security and medicare — probably because they serve as reminders to his start in life — a start he’d like to forget and pretend he’s been “in the money” most of his life. How cruel and abominable their actions are against the vulnerable in our country!

But it’s not just the Greedy Old Predators in Congress to helped to bring about this demise of a great country by first nominating and then electing a sexual predator — the Evangelicals — the “holier-than-thou” misfits who promoted the narrative that God chose The Rapist. Apparently, they meant the god of this world, not the God of Heaven because the God of Heaven would not choose anyone who doesn’t know Him to do any great thing. Regardless of what the Evangelical community spouts — The Rapist is not a Christian and won’t be no matter how many times they “lay hands on him and pray.” The devil is a liar and we know The Rapist belongs to him.

It is ideological premises that have led us to this place — “those wearing the label of Christianity, yet know not how to do the work of the label” and not true Christianity. True Christians know that God is love and that He has commanded us to love one another and to defend the rights of the poor and the needy — not the greedy.

It is the existing tribalism in Congress that will keep us in a place of subservience with the Greedy Old Predators in charge. They would rather vote in lock step with The Rapist rather than make country and their constituents a priority in their decision-making.

All of this has been said before — in many different ways — but saying it again and as often as needed, will hopefully cause the gullibles to wake up and smell the stench coming from the White House and determine to do something about it — while they have a chance. That chance will arrive on November 6, 2018 — for us to create a Blue Wave Tsunami and truly take our country back from the Greedy Old Predators and The Rapist — recovering our status with world leaders who think we have collectively lost our minds by allowing such an abomination reside in the White House.

We can do this and all it takes is for everyone who can read and think to consider joining other Everyday Americans and setting this stagecoach upright — reclaiming our time! We need fair and balanced decision-makers in Congress, not tribalism and certainly not Russian plants.

Robber-Barons!

Dear Congressional GOP:

After you voted to pass the tax bill that no one had read this morning, I think we can safely conclude you are indeed–21st Century Robber Barons–along with your wealthy donors and lobbyists.

Robber-Baron–an American capitalist of the latter part of the 19th century who became wealthy through exploitation (as of natural resources, governmental influence, or low wage scales) (Merriam-Webster definition).

You have decided that appeasing your donors was more important that representing your constituents (60% of whom were against this bill) which means among other things, you cannot claim to represent your constituents and we can claim “taxation without representation” since you ignored the calls and letters submitted by Americans. That means, a tax revolt–the foundation on which this country was founded–revolting against evil.

Before you attempt to take the high road, let me remind all of the hypocrites who claim to be Christians, yet know not Christ. How do I know you don’t know Christ? Because Christ would not promote or support–ever–abandoning the poor and needy. In fact, we are told in The Word of God to defend the rights of the poor and needy. “Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:9) But I guess the only time you open your bible is to just read, not understand or to lift a scripture out to quote to those gullible enough to believe you belong to Christ. If you cannot do Christianity, don’t wear the label–it makes you a hypocrite.

Would Christ concern Himself with providing tax relief for those who own private airplanes or golf courses?

Would Christ tax scholarships for students trying to further their education so they can be more productive in society?

Would Christ eliminate funding sources that inhibit access to affordable healthcare for the poor and leave those without health insurance to die from inability to continue treatment for terminal illnesses?

Would Christ ignore the very basic principle or tenet of Christianity–loving all–unconditionally?

Would Christ eat in abundance and live lavishly while others went hungry?

Would Christ build a wall to hinder those seeking shelter and safety from doing so?

I suggest, strongly, dear Republican Hypocrites that you have never read what Jesus said in Matthew 25:33-45 in any version of a bible. Therefore, let me remind you by publishing it in this letter and perhaps you and your staffers (hope they make more than $75K a year or you may see a revolt) can meditate upon the meaning and then read from a version of your choosing.

He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. When you stand before God on Judgment Day, what will you hear Him say? “Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:23 or ““His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!'” Matthew 25:23

I live my life as a Christian–doing the label and not just wearing it–and I know when I stand before Him I shall hear, “Well done!”

You have time to change your course, but since you are arrogant and believe you’re right, you won’t. I would say, I would pray for you, but then, that would dishonor God’s Word when He told Jeremiah–“So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you.” Jeremiah 7:16 NIV You might want to read the first 15 verses for context and understanding. Fits all of you!

So, believe this: I will do everything in my power to persuade, cajole, encourage, convince voters across the country to stop believing the Republican lies and to turn the country Blue in 2018 elections and 2020 elections! You see because in the Word of God, the Democrats are the righteous since we do what The Word says do and you are on the goats on the left–defying His Word to support your greed and corruption.  You are indeed–the epitome of a Robber Baron operating in the 21st Century as an appendage of your lobbyists.  Never again!

#Resisting and Deterring the evil of the Republican Tribalism

When Will Enough Be Enough?

An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and against all sound judgment starts quarrels. Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions. When wickedness comes, so does contempt and with shame comes reproach. The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream. It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of justice. The lips of fools bring them strife, and their mouths invite a beating. Since I highlight in red for emphasis, it would have been appropriate to highlight the entire passage, but there are specific points I want to make here about fools and what happens when they run their mouths without thinking.

The real problem before I began to clarify is this–when will Americans say enough is enough?

There is a segment of America who did not speak out and denounce the “birther movement” perpetuated by trump and it was because of this lie, he ignited hatred and bigotry against Barack Obama and America didn’t say, “enough is enough!”

He rode this lie right into the hearts of haters who elected to govern America for all Americans, but nothing has changed–if anything his rhetoric is about to ignite all sorts of wars, because Republican leaders haven’t said, “enough is enough!”

Recently, he practically endorsed the behavior of white supremacists and the killing of Heather Heyer when he said, “some of them are very fine people” and America didn’t say, “enough is enough!”

He has criticized Colin Kaepernick for taking a knee to protest injustice and igniting polarization against him because he was exercising his 1st amendment rights and now all the ruckus has resulted in a great football player being deprived from doing what he loves and America has not said, “enough is enough!”

From the podium at a press conference, Sarah Huckabee Sanders that Jemele Hill should be fired because she told the truth in saying trump is a white supremacist and America has yet to say with a loud voice, “enough is enough!”

At the United Nations General Assembly, trump vowed to commit war crimes in threatening to, “totally destroy North Korea” which entails murdering 25 million people and some see the statement as “strong” instead of deplorable, but no one has said, “enough is enough!”

Now, he’s turned on Steph Curry simply because once again, Curry decided “to not visit the White House and ignited the rhetoric again and here we are, with not many saying, “enough is enough!”

But perhaps the most telling racist and bigoted remarks (of late) is his calling Black Athletes, “sons-of a b****” and calling them to be fired by owners. He didn’t call the white supremacist who killed Heather Heyer a hateful name, but Black Athletes–he’s perfectly comfortable with calling names. Is it enough, yet?

Then he turned on the owners who honor a person’s right to express themselves. Is it enough, yet?

He hasn’t said a negative thing about Putin and has attempted to excoriate every other person who does not agree with him. Is it enough, yet?

He’s promoting the Graham-Cassidy Health Care Reconciliation that guarantees over 30 million Americans will not have access to affordable healthcare. Is it enough, yet?

There’s a “base” of people supporting the nonsense and bigoted rhetoric who have ignored the fact that this draft-dodging, tantrum-throwing-toddler-in-chief has no clue what it means to “serve” America or what the Constitution means for all Americans. Is it enough, yet?

His Cabinet is using the United States Treasury as their personal ATM and no one has said, “enough is enough.”

Will Americans wait until a nuclear war is ignited to say, “enough is enough?” It will be too late then, not just for America, but for the world since radioactive material doesn’t discriminate in destruction of human beings and the planet.

If I had the time and thirty extra fingers, typing on three more laps, I still wouldn’t be able to express all that I feel about this horrendous apparatus sitting in the White House, tweeting threats and igniting racial divide in this country. Many of us–recognize what he’s doing and it is not for the benefit of the country, but to appease his base in keeping the racial strife alive–hoping it will be distraction enough to keep the media from reporting on the status of the Mueller investigation. We know distraction when we see it and most of us know, truth will be revealed and he will be exposed as an illegitimate president because of his involvement in the election meddling, he probably applauded.

It is more than enough for me! I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired with his maniacal megalomaniac wannabe dictator and his nonsense. It’s time for everyone with a functioning brain and a heart for Christ to stand up and speak out and say, “Enough is enough!” We have become the laughingstock of the world and the WH idiot thinks other world leaders like him. He’s too foolish and self-absorbed to know, they all think he’s an idiot and none of them trust him.

I’m standing up and speaking out and today, though I’m not normally sitting in front of a television watching football, I will “take a knee” as an expression of my support for those on a football field anywhere and as my right to do so.

When will you say, “Enough is enough” and demand Republican leaders censure trump or start drafting articles of impeachment for his many violations of the constitution?

And since I’m tired of complaining (though I will continue to speak out against all the hate and bigotry), I’m doing something about it. If you’re tired of all the nonsense, too–join me in my quest to become President in 2020!

 

 

Where Are The Watchmen (Part 2)

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,” and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will for die for their sin and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn them the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.” Ezekiel 33:7-9 NIV

Where are the wicked, O Lord that I might warn them to give up their wickedness? If we believe we are called to be watchmen, this should be our daily cry–where are they so we can warn them and not have to be concerned about their blood being on us.

This one truth I have learned long ago: My job is tell people what God said; I do not have to convince them, they have a right to accept or reject what is said. If I don’t tell them what God says, then I put myself in jeopardy, and no one–absolutely no one–is worth me losing my mansion in heaven.

Therefore, I will continue to sing His praises and telling the world–every chance I get–confess, repent, and seek a better relationship with Him. This is especially true of those in the White House. Every day, more information is revealed that there is indeed collusion, coordination, cooperation, participation with Russia and that Russia has been instrumental in installing the current resident. Someone needs to sit down with history books, the Constitution, the Declaration of the Independence, and the Bill of Rights, read and understand in order to help this country move forward with a better understanding of what a Patriot really is. A Patriot cares about the country and will stand upright, ready to fight for country, more than aligning themselves with a president.

Here’s the Word from God–though paraphrased for contemporary use–for all the GOP including trump and clan.

I will keep saying this until the evil is removed from the White House and sanity is restored across the nation. Though wickedness may reign for a moment, its time is coming and all the world shall see how God deals with those who commit wickedness against His people.

Please continue to read Ezekiel 33 for I shall continue with Part 3, another day. Sometimes, we simply need to meditate on segments until they are deeply rooted in our hearts so we’ll know how to move forward.

In the meantime, I shall continue laying the foundation–alerting the masses that I’m running for president and seeking their support. I believe as an Everyday American, with no Russian ties, no political baggage and no celebrity status that I can and will serve Americans well.

 

For Those In Authority

Pray for understanding and re-read and then compare what is said to what we see in the behavior of those in authority.

Yes, I know this is Paul talking about authority in the church, but the same traits and expectations for leadership in the church should extend to those in authority anywhere else.

Think about it!

Of course the first person who comes to mind for me is the #WHidiot and all those in Congress who claim to be Christians but have not learned to walk the Christian life. They do not exercise discipline; they are corrupt and self-serving, seeking what they can do for themselves and not concerned about what is best for all Americans; and they lack self-control, are narcissistic, liars.

When God gives us instructions about how to be leaders, we ought to use those instructions across the board–in whatever situation we find ourselves–whether political or not whether paid or not. This is what it means to be a great leader.

Based upon God’s Word, we do not have a great leader in the White House; in fact, we have a tantrum-throwing toddler-in-chief commanding America’s military to stroke his own ego, not to protect Americans or American interest. This is an unacceptable way to lead and it certainly won’t protect us from the enemy–which is not outside the United States, but in the White House.

God knows and I’m counting on His love to prevail and protect those of us who know from the folly of the fool who thinks he is more than he is.

How long, Lord, how long?

I wonder how many people are asking that question right now. Many are wondering how much longer we must wait to see the lunacy in the White House end.

But it’s not just the White House–it’s the lawmakers who are only considering what is best for the rich–that 2% of the population in the United States. The rest of us–the 98% receive no consideration by them and never have.

How do we know? We have but to look at what’s going on around us–the changes in the EPA agency–established to protect consumers against corporate greed as they pollute the air and waters in order to make themselves more money. We have but to look at the cabinet choices of 45–all wealthy and unconcerned about those who fall into the 98% of the population. The real issue here is–the 98% have more power collectively if they don’t sit on their butts and not pay attention.

Consider–if you will–how much leverage we have if everyone of the 98% picked up a phone and called their representatives expressing their concerns about the plight of America–with healthcare, environmental protections, and jobs (which have not been addressed).

Consider–if you will–how cutting funds to Planned Parenthood will affect the lives of many impoverished women who will be denied access to healthcare, not related to abortions.

Consider–if you will–how putting a person into a qualified position as the Secretary of Education who has no qualifications to be there. Public Education will surely take a hit and how many of the 98% can afford to send their children to private schools?

Consider–if you will–the fact that coal-mining jobs and much manufacturing won’t be making a comeback simply because there is no need for them. The world is moving away from using fossil fuels and considering the fact that coal-mining companies have been given permission to poison the waters, there won’t be many people living in an environment where their water supply is toxic. Automation and robotics have taken the place of people in many manufacturing arenas and therefore, unless a person is highly skilled, there won’t be jobs.

Consider–if you will–how many people will end up not getting the healthcare they need and will end up dying because of the lack of affordable healthcare.

Consider–if you will–how the Republicans tainted the Affordable Care Act by calling it Obamacare–confusing people simply because they didn’t like President Obama.

Consider–if you will–how hatred and acrimony played a part in getting us to where we are in this country–with an idiot in the White House–clearly unfit for the job–and yet, the Christians say nothing all because they want to interfere with a woman’s right to choose what to do with their lives.

Consider–if you will–how much longer we’ll be able take the barrage of foolishness launched at us on a daily basis before we become a nation of apathy–too frustrated to do anything but wait for the fall-out and if we do that–we all lose.

Perhaps–if people had taken more time to consider all the possibilities before they voted, we would not be in the mess we’re in with North Korean attempting to influence another war because it’s leader has no respect for ours.

Perhaps–if people had not been so gullible they believed a liar–we would all be in much better shape by now and able to rest in the assurance of the Lord leading the person in the White House. By her actions and life’s commitment to helping others–she demonstrated her faith in God. By 45’s actions and life of doing nothing other than amassing wealth for himself–he demonstrates he does not know God.

Lord Jesus, only You know the end from the beginning and we thank You for looking out for the 98%–considering us worthy and making a clear path of success for each of us and we continue to serve You and not the dictates of our flesh.

God Hasn’t Forgotten!

I remembered my songs in the night. My heart meditated and my spirit asked: “Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again?  Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”Then I thought, “To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. No matter how disappointed we get with the seemingly ignored events of those in the White House, we must remember that God has not forgotten us. He numbered the very hairs on our heads, knows our thoughts before we ever think them, and has planned a future for us to prosper us, not harm us.

He did not promise we would not encounter obstacles on the journey to receive what He has in store for us, but we can be assured we will receive all He has for us because God is not a man that He should lie. Considering how he abhors lies and liars, telling a lie would never be a consideration for God. When, we read His Word and live it, we can count on His plans being fulfilled even when we don’t see how.

Just like He has not forgotten those who are waiting for deliverance from the evil in the White House, He has not forgotten those who perpetuate the evil and He will give them their due recompense for all the havoc and chaos they have created.

We may think we’ve gotten away with something when we shrug off the illicit behaviors that would cost people their jobs in a blink of an eye. God knows–and perhaps–He is allowing more humiliation to build before the fall occurs. Satan doesn’t have a problem with anyone rising to high heights because the fall will devastate. And he will take out his own army.

Therefore, if we trust God, we can trust that He is not ignoring the plight of America. He will deal with all those who are not acting like they belong to Him in Congress–all those Republicans who are “afraid of the president” and not the people who voted for them. They have forgotten, the “so-called”president didn’t elect them–the people did. God has also not forgotten those “church leaders” who promoted 45 as “God’s Choice” for president and they, too will reap their just recompense.

If we believe God’s Word is true, then we must know that none are exempt from receiving the recompense of their actions–no one–not the president or anyone else working in the White House–and violating the laws and policies of this land. The oath of office taken by the president, Congress, and cabinet appointees should have been taken seriously, for The Word tells, it is better not to  make vow, than to make a vow and not keep it. One would think–all those “so-called Christians in Congress” would know this. I guess they haven’t read it for awhile.

At any rate, all the world will see soon and very soon that though evil crept into the midst of things–God has not forgotten. Vengeance is His and He will repay–bigly!

Don’t forget–God has always used people-–those who are willing to listen to Him and obey–to accomplish all of His plans. If God is speaking to your heart to get involved in the resistance movement (resisting against evil), don’t hesitate to act, while you yet have a chance.

Recognizing Truth!

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” John 8:42-47 NIV

POLITICS ALERT!

In an era in which people accept lies for truth and say truth is a lie, how on earth are we supposed to know truth when we see or hear it?

Jesus told us that truth will set us free in verse 32 of this same chapter. But whose truth? The truth of the masses who are willing to believe anything that is not proven or simply because of who said it? I think–if we’re going to listen to people–especially other Christians–we must know what they say lines up with The Word!

The following excerpt was taken from an online article on November 1, 2016:

In an interview Tuesday morning on CNN, wealthy GOP donor Foster Friess explained why supporting Donald Trump — who has been married multiple times and has bragged about grabbing women by the genitals — is actually very compatible with Christian values. “I don’t think [Christian voters] should be conflicted if they’re really embracing their Christian values,” said Friess, in a pitch to win over Christians shying away from supporting the Republican presidential candidate because of his controversial comments.

Friess argued that because “one of the gifts Jesus gave us was forgiveness,” the Christian thing to do would actually be to forgive Trump for his past sins. “What value is our Christian faith if we don’t forgive someone who’s seeking to move forward?” Friess said, noting the “whole message of Christianity here is evident in Donald Trump’s progress, where you look at where he was 10 years ago and where he is today, we have to be excited about that.”

What’s notable in what Friess says is that since “forgiveness” is a Christian value, why is it not extendable to Hillary who has exhibited knowledge of God?  The Republican Party has investigated the Clintons for decades and have yet to find anything prosecutable in anything they have done. When both Bill and Hillary messed up, they apologized and sought forgiveness. Though they are not perfect–none of us are–they have exemplified more Christian values than Trump is even capable of knowing exists.

And Trump’s progress is questionable to say the least. He is still promoting fear, hatred, and bigotry. He is yet disrespecting women and thinks nothing of his behavior. He is yet lying on a consistent basis and igniting hatred in the hearts of those who support him. He is yet promoting violence against Hillary.

There are those who say Trump loves this country. How has he demonstrated that love of country? His four deferments indicate he could care less about the security and safety of this country since he refused to join the military and yet–now claims that he can teach the Secretary of Defense military strategy! This is the same man who claimed to know more about ISIS than the Generals who have been involved in fighting them. But more importantly–he thinks he’s smart not to pay taxes–taxes that are used to pay our military to help keep this country safe. Is that love of country?

Trump claims he’s a smart businessman. How many smart businessmen end up filing bankruptcy multiple times and losing almost a billion dollars in one year?

Trump claims he respects women yet has no problem attempting to intimidate Hillary during a debate in then interrupting her at another to call her a “nasty woman” in the middle of her giving a response to the moderator. There’s also his questionable obsession about his daughter’s body, which borders being incestuous fantasy.

There has been no evidence in anything he says or does that Holy Spirit is guiding him in anything. There is no unconditional love for others and we know this since he fuels the chants of “lock her up!” His claim that she is “the devil” is fueled by hate mongers such as Alex Jones who admits he has said that President Obama and Hillary are the devil and “we can tell by the smell of sulfur on them.” Now–whose truth is that? Sounds like that came straight from the pit to me. There is no joy and hope in what Trump says, only despair if he’s not the one in charge! That’s the narcissistic personality that reigns in his life. Remember, at his convention, “I know what’s wrong and I am the only one who can fix it.”

This person can’t even discipline himself and has demonstrated he can’t focus on anything for more than 30 minutes at a time, unless he’s entertaining the masses at his rallies. There is no evidence of the fruit of the Spirit operating in his life and there is no truth than can be manufactured to even create the illusion of his being a Christian.

Perhaps, more importantly than anything else is the fact that Trump believes he has no reason to ask God for forgiveness since he has done nothing wrong. And that’s the way he sees his life–he’s never done anything wrong because he’s a god that lives by his own rules. If we do not ask God to forgive us, there is no forgiveness to be had. And just asking to be forgiven without repentance is simply mouthing empty words.

In order for us to recognize truth that others pretend to speak, we must know that truth aligns with The Word in the context God intended, not how we selectively misuse it.

Now, I know there are people–Christians–who are concerned about who might be appointed to the Supreme Court. Is the concern because they do not trust God to be God and speak to the hearts of all involved? Or is that they simply don’t want to see a woman in the White House? The other concern–supposedly–is they feel they must support the person who is pro-life. Well, here’s a question for them. How is it that a pro-life group can support rights of life in the womb, but not rights of life outside the womb? There is more outrage about people having abortions than there is about people being killed–especially when it comes to the “Black Lives Matter” group. What happened to being “for life” in this situation?

Apparently, those who think being pro-choice is a sin and that’s because they haven’t developed a right relationship with God because God–the God of heaven–gives us choice in all we do and He has established the consequences of our choices and “never makes us do anything.” And for the record, being pro-choice does not mean a person is “for abortions.” It means we believe that a woman has the right to choose what she does and deal with the consequences of her choices. That’s the way God does things–allows people to choose.

As for the 2nd Amendment argument–that Hillary is trying to take guns away from people–that is so much hogwash being perpetuated by the lies promoted by the haters. She wants to make sure that guns are kept out of the hands of those who would use them to commit murder. She has no problem with people owning guns to protect themselves. And please don’t respond to me about “hunting rights.” No one needs an automatic, rapid-fire weapon to kill a deer or anything else. The animal would be so shredded there would be no point in having killed it in the first place.

So, enough of the smokescreen about why people want Trump in office. He is a despicable, white man and people don’t want to see a woman as President. There are people who would rather put political party affiliations before country and that should be a sin. God didn’t create politics–men did–in their effort to ignore Him. Remember how Saul became a king–because other tribes had kings and did not honor God.

Now, why should anyone believe anything that’s been said? They shouldn’t without seeking God for themselves and praying for discernment to recognize truth–in all people, in all situations, at all times. Truth–regarding any situation–has already been addressed in God’s Word and if we have a right relationship with Him, He will always guide us to truth in His Word and His Truth is applicable for all people. 

Walking in Darkness!

Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them. I John 2:8-11 NIV

Political Alert!

When John reminds us that we as Believers should be walking in the Light of God’s love and yet we see–those who claim to be walking in the light hating–what are we really demonstrating to the world?

I’m more inclined to believe “the world” knows how to treat others better than those who claim to know Christ–based upon what I see on a daily basis in the media. More specifically, the Republican party is always “acting” like they’re more religious than the Democrats, but from what I see–with all the hate-mongering promoted and encouraged, I’d rather be known as a Believer than a Christian with all of the “religious” trappings that apparently mean nothing to those espousing the claims. I have seen more hate and fear-mongering from those who claim to know Christ and follow Him than I could have ever imagined. I am ashamed and embarrassed by the behavior of those who claim to be Christians, but obviously have no clue as to how Christ wants us to live–loving one another.

If we have not love–one for the other–we do not belong to Christ and all the religiosity we demonstrate, won’t mean a thing.

Loving one another does not mean we have to agree with one another, but it should mean we respect one another enough to accept that we all have differing opinions, and simply agree to disagree without all the name-calling and bashing others.

I cannot imagine that God is happy with much of what He’s seeing in our behavior. We have literally defiled our relationship with Him because of politics–which is a disaster in this country–and in a few months, it will all be over–no matter who wins. But will we be able to restore broken relationships with others because of differing opinions? I don’t know.  Some of the things I see–cut quite deep and restoration of relationships may not be possible and that’s a shame.

As Believers–we should not promote or support anyone who promotes fear or hate. It’s really just that simple. Love–covers a multitude of sin and when we love–unconditionally, we are able to forgive, but hate–is a cancer that runs rampant and is not satisfied until it kills. The enemy’s job–kill, steal, and destroy, father of liars, and master of deception. 

If we ever expect anyone to have any respect for the word, “Christian” we’d better start cleaning up our acts or no one is going to be believe we are “followers of Christ” when we promote hatred of people–for any reason. If we promote hatred, we lie when we claim to be followers of Christ.

Followers of Christ–true Believers–have various skin tones, colors; come from various backgrounds and come in all sizes and though we love the same God–read the same Word, we have various differing thoughts about how we do things–as it relates to being a Believer, but everything we do–should be aligned with The Word.

Our role–while in the earth–is to love people to Christ–not turn them off from hearing the Gospel message. And quite frankly, I’m becoming tone-deaf to some people who claim to be Christians, but are promoting agendas based on political party affiliations rather than The Word of God. The Gospel Message is the only we should be promoting and not just by beating people up with The Word, but in our treatment of everyone.

It is time for us to stop walking in darkness–doing the deeds of darkness, but to live in the glorious light of The Lord!
