Disaster In The White House!

Disaster In The White House!

A troublemaker and a villain, who goes about with a corrupt mouth, who winks maliciously with his eye, signals with his feet and motions with his fingers, who plots evil with deceit in his heart— he always stirs up conflict. Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy. There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Proverbs 6:12-19 NIV

As hard as I try to see a redeeming quality in 45–it just doesn’t seem possible. On a daily basis; he becomes more abhorrent than the day before. Forget trying to see any parts of Christ reigning in his life–he is of the devil and everything he does–demonstrates it.

His only goal–to pacify the rich and make everyone else suffer–including those who voted for him.

Between Bannon and Miller’s control over him and his own ineptness, it’s a wonder the walls at the White House haven’t collapsed from the sheer absurdity of who and what is in the office.

Talk about hating people–45 makes me wonder if his parents ever showed him any affection at all. We know his rich daddy bought his way through everything and he’s never learned to accept any responsibility for his actions because we see it–daily. He constantly missteps and lies and never apologizes for his wrong doing while others around him get shoved under the bus by association.

Is this going to be the way we see the trash get taken out of the White House–anyone associating with him first?

He should be thrown out in the midst of all those who will suffer from his hateful policies! The elderly and poor, the middle-class worker who sought relief from his presidency and who only get buried with the healthcare coverage and still won’t have the “good jobs” he promised. The only people who benefit from a “tRump presidency are the very rich.”

Sadly, those who might have had a chance of redemption have positioned themselves to dwell in the burning lake for all eternity with him since they think it’s more important to support his lies than to tell the truth.

At any rate–if people don’t see or understand that his promises are as empty as his brain, they are deluding themselves if they think their lives are going to get better under the pathological liar-in-chief who doesn’t have a clue or the temperament to be in the White House.

I listened to Rep. Chris Collins yesterday on “The Messy Truth” with Van Jones and heard the obvious “talking points” of the GOP–“we’ve suffered for the last eight years under Obama.” This is a talking point that has been debunked over and over, but I guess they (GOP) figure if they keep repeating it; it will be true. Another way of seeing what is happening is to remember–how the “GOP obstructed Obama”refused to cooperate or work with the democrats in moving the country forward and it was a “deliberate plan by the Republican leadership” who bragged about it. So, if there was any suffering--it was caused by the obstructionists, not President Obama.

I have come to the conclusion that Republicans think it’s more important to lie and support party than work for the betterment of the country. This is one of the reasons that the audience laughed when Collins said he’d give 45 “A” for a grade. And every time a republican purports that he’s doing just great–he believes the lie and his supporters get screwed with the rest of us.

It doesn’t help that with his lack of ability that he thinks “watching movies, fake news and reading parts of right-wing conspiracy theories” provides him with knowledge and understanding. His reading comprehension skills are non-existent and if he had a functioning brain, he’d know he’s being played by everyone in the White House around him–especially Bannon and Miller (Spicer, Priebus and Conway–are just too foolish to understand what’s going on right in front of them).

So, yes there is a disaster in the White House and it’s effects shall soon be felt by all.

During The Test!

“So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness,” (Hebrews 3:7,8 NIV)

In Hebrews, new converts–followers of Christ–are reminded about what had happened with the Children of Israel during their wilderness journey while Moses was leading them to the promised land.

Just as the people hardened their hearts against Moses when he did as God instructed and stopped listening to him, people are still hardening their hearts against Holy Spirit when He speaks because He gives instructions that are contrary to fleshly dictates. Holy Spirit will only say what God says and when people don’t agree–they get angry and rebellious–like spoiled children who cannot get their way and they do stupid things (murder comes to mind).

Is that what we are today? Spoiled children trying to get our way, even though we know that God is right and He only has our best interests at heart. Children who have never been taught discipline throw tantrums to get their way with parents. Most try and the tantrums have to be nipped in the bud, rather than used to manipulate. When my children threw tantrums as toddlers, I did, too. I rolled in the floor, screaming and pounding on the floor and they ended up looking at me like I was crazy. The tantrums ended because they could not have their way. When tantrums are not stopped, those same children become undisciplined adults and think their rebellious natures will get them what they want. They think–like the child thought!

I can imagine God looking at us in the same way, shaking His head because we think our little tantrums and acts of rebellion are going to make Him change His mind. But we forget one thing--“I the Lord your God, change not.” We can be as rebellious as we want to be and we’ll end up getting the same results as those who went before us–tragedy.

In this era of people testing God to see if they can manipulate Him into giving in to their tantrums, the rest of us–who truly believe and understand God’s nature, must hold onto our faith in Him and know–this is just a test! Rebellious people do what they want to do, but the final outcome will be as it was before–disaster and then people will want to blame God for what happens to them, simply because they would not obey.

When you hear the voice of Holy Spirit speaking to you about righteousness and obedience–don’t harden your hearts–listen and obtain the best life God has in store for you!

Watching Us!

“indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:4 NIV). [Read entire Psalm for context.]

When we who believe God and have a relationship with Him, finally reach a place where we understand just how great He is and how much He loves us, we will never be fearful or concerned about anything because we know–He never sleeps and He always watches over those He loves. Hallelujah!

However, there are those who would attempt to refute this by arguing about–hungry children and nations, droughts, child sex slaves, molested children, enslaved women, etc. They–the naysayers would say–how could anyone possibly believe God watches over us when people are starving and dying of hideous diseases and kidnapped or are the victims of disasters?

Listen closely!  The Word says, He watches over us; it does not say, He makes us hear and obey Him. He sees the tragedies and His heart hurts every time He watches one of His children get caught up in things that will be detrimental, but He gives us–all of us–freewill to choose!

When we choose not to listen and obey Him, we generally run into problems. But what about the babies and children they would continue to argue? Do the children have parents or other adults in their lives who make poor decisions? Are they not aware of that the decisions they make have long term effects that impact their lives and the lives of their families?

Those who sin against God and man have the same ability to choose as anyone else. They choose to do what is wrong and God allows it because He does not make people do anything–any more than the devil does. God influences and when we listen, we benefit. Satan influences and when we listen, we lose! No matter what happens, God is watching us!

While He’s watching us, today–what will He see us doing? Are we encouraging one another? Are sharing His love with others? Are we feeding the hungry and caring for the poor–naturally and spiritually? Are lifting up the name of Jesus everywhere we go? Are we seeking His direction before we make decisions? If we cannot be truthful to ourselves, He will reveal truth to us–by allowing us to receive the consequences of our actions. He’s watching!
