No Excuses!

No Excuses!

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares. Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God; if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law; if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? Romans 2:1-23 NIV

We no longer have an excuse to condone treasonous behavior occurring in the White House. Of course, for those who still believe 45 is God’s choice for president–what can I say? Apparently, nothing that will convince that 45 is in the White House because of the will of misinformed, duped people who listened to the lies promoted against Hillary. How do I know?

Look–if you will–without bias–totally objective–at all the events unfolding at the White House. I have long ago determined that whatever comes out of 45’s mouth is projection about what he’s doing.

He called Hillary corrupt–when he’s the corrupt one–never hesitating to bully or bribe others to get what he wants.

He called Hillary a liar–if people don’t know by now that 45 is a pathological liar (with a straight face), I’d have to conclude they’ve been living under a rock with no access to unfolding news. He knew about Flynn from the beginning which is why Bannon chose him.  And to top it all off–every surrogate who speaks on his behalf is a pathological liar–must be criteria for working for it.

He blasted Hillary for a security risk to the nation–now that the truth is being exposed–his claims are laughable–especially in “light” of his handling a crisis call in the midst of a dinner with “paying” guests who had access to information intended for the president only. And there is his use of an “unsecured phone” and his aides, using personal email accounts. Where have we heard that being a problem–before? Right–Hillary’s emails–those hacked and released by WikiLeaks.

Ignorance of the law (or the constitution) is no excuse and should not be tolerated. The Republicans also knew about the hacking, but said nothing because it benefited them. Now, for everyone who promoted 45 as God’s choice–judgment awaits–because obviously, your agenda was more important that the security of this nation.

The end is near–but how soon all will be exposed will be determined by those who have a backbone and the balls to stand up against the republican obstacle wall.

We cannot count on the FBI to be truthful because of the conduct demonstrated during the election. We cannot count of the DOJ and the AG is part of the collusion because they’re afraid of 45. We can count on the ACLU to take the case to court–if necessary–and if Democrats pursue resolution to all the chaos in the White House. We also cannot ignore the threats or distraction by Russia now cruising along the East Coast–in an apparent attempt to help keep people distracted from demanding truth from the White House.

Now, we all understand why the Senate was pushed to rush through all the nominees for cabinet positions–to bring America to its knees as every agency created to safeguard, is now being demolished.

However, with all the unfolding evidence of wrong-doing by politicians, we who know The Lord and live according to His Word–have no excuse to not speak truth when we know it.

Where Do We Stand With God?

But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts; they have turned aside and gone away. They do not say to themselves, ‘Let us fear the LORD our God, who gives autumn and spring rains in season, who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest. Your wrongdoings have kept these away; your sins have deprived you of good.“Among my people are the wicked who lie in wait like men who snare birds and like those who set traps to catch people. Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerful and have grown fat and sleek. Their evil deeds have no limit; they do not seek justice. They do not promote the case of the fatherless; they do not defend the just cause of the poor. Should I not punish them for this?” declares the LORD. “Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?“A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end? Jeremiah 5:23-31 NIV

No matter how hard we may try, we cannot ignore what the prophets of earlier times have said, especially when we see–hundreds of years later–the same thing happening across the globe.

While we have no control over what other people do, are we exercising control over what we–individually do? If we are not capable of self-control and living right before God as individuals, how could we expect a nation to do what is right? After all, the nation is the collective group of individuals. So therefore–each individual’s action becomes a benchmark for the nation to be judged. Are we setting a standard to be admired or mocked, to be rewarded or punished? Where do we stand with God?

Unfortunately, we often say things that are attempts to justify our inability to live according to God’s Word like, “No one is perfect.” While that’s true, it is simply not an excuse to live in opposition to God’s Word.

Our imperfections and flaws and shortcomings are a result of disobedience and lack of understanding, both of which we have control. We miss the mark when we allow the dictates of our flesh to lead us and not Holy Spirit. We allow our emotions to reign in our lives instead of wisdom and uh-oh, dare I say it, “common sense.” When we refuse to get into The Word of God and seek Him for understanding, we continue to fall short of being who He desires us to be and in doing what He desires us to do.

As the Word points out to us, “we are without excuse” and there is no point in our attempting to justify living according to the dictates of our flesh. Though there may be many who claim they do not believe in God and certainly won’t read a bible, there are just as many Believers who blog on a daily basis–promoting God’s Word and His love. Since many spend more time on the Internet than they do in opening a book, there is much to be found to keep people on the path where God would have us. The global opportunity means we have far-reaching capability to make sure everyone has access to understanding of God’s Word. Indeed, there are many people–especially some who claimed to be atheists, who have exposed to the truth of God’s Word and accepted.

Now, what was that excuse again? No Bible–no problem–there are many online bibles with commentaries and many bloggers who do an excellent job of explaining scripture and connecting the application to our lives. We are indeed without excuse. So, where do we stand with God? Each individual has to answer that question for themselves and then we can accurately conclude whether or not–we are in the same place today as the people were when Jeremiah spoke to them.

It’s Time!

“There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Joshua 1:5).

It’s time for all of us to wake up and realize that where we are or aren’t in life is entirely our responsibility!

NO MORE BLAME GAMES. OWN WHAT YOU HAVE OR HAVE NOT DONE TO GET WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!

We continue to look back at events in our pasts and point fingers at every negative situation and say, “that’s why I couldn’t do anything with my life.” We lie and Satan is proclaimed our daddy!

Negative stuff happens to everyone at one time or another. What we “choose” to do with the negative reality will determine the positive or negative conclusions in our lives.

Abusive parents–no excuse.

Abusive spouse–no excuse.

Lack of education–no excuse.

Genetic predispositions to illnesses–no excuse.

Laziness–no excuse.

Procrastination–no excuse.

Daddy wasn’t around–no excuse.

Mama wasn’t around–no excuse.

Accidents that were not your fault–no excuse.

Foolish and unwise decisions–get over it and do something wise about it.

Poverty–no excuse.

Born into wealth–no excuse.

There are no excuses for anyone to be sad, despondent, and pitiful unless they just want to be–sad, despondent and pitiful.

Stop looking for excuses to validate and legitimize your failures and find (earnestly seek) reasons to succeed–at something–anything–everything!

Whose life is this anyway? It’s your life and you are the only one who can determine what it is or what it will be by seeking The Lord and getting yourself aligned with His Word.

Get over yourself and your pitiful life and get going with Jesus because with Him, failure is not an option!

Today Is Your Appointed Time!

“See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant” (Jeremiah 1:10 NIV).

Everyday, most of us have scheduled appointments we have either written down on a calendar, in a planner or programmed into our phones. This is how we manage and budget out time so we can get things done. But notice I said, this is how “we” manage our time. Have we thought about what our appointments would be if we allowed God to manage our time?

Imagine how Jeremiah must have felt when The Lord spoke to him! The Lord reminded Jeremiah that before he was formed in the womb, He had plans for him. He also told him that he had no need to fear what others might say or think of him and that he would never be alone. Before Jeremiah could open his mouth to say anything, The Lord spoke and told him not to make excuses about not doing what He told him. And then, He told Jeremiah, “today, I have appointed you over nations and kingdoms” to expose all that is not right, tear it down and rebuild per my specifications (slightly paraphrased). Although Jeremiah had his doubts, he eventually fulfilled his role in God’s plan for his life.

What about us? Have we heard God speak to our hearts and know without a doubt that He has plans for us–an appointed time–for which we must do what He tells us to do? Are we making excuses for not doing what we know we have heard Him say? When we know we are to speak God’s Word to people, do we shy away from doing so because we think we are incapable of speaking or too young, or too old, too short, too fat, too thin, too tall, too ignorant, too knowledgeable about science to speak God’s Word? What are the excuses that we’re making?

In the 21st Century, we have an advantage that Jeremiah didn’t have–technology. We have an avenue through cyberspace to speak God’s Word through social mediums, blogging, emailing, texting, and even with the advantage, some are still making excuses. “I can’t spell; I can’t write; I don’t know these people; they won’t follow/fan me if I talk about God, etc.” Excuses to be disobedient–now find reasons to obey, this day!

Since God is no respecter of persons, He will use anyone who is willing to be used to get what He wants done. With Him, “there is no male or female, Jew or Gentile,” just willing people–who hear and obey. This day, right now, determine within yourself that you are going to hear what God says and obey. You are not going to make any more excuses; you are going to do what you have been appointed to do, without any regard to how people will think of you or what they might say. And if you feel as though you’ll be persecuted for doing what is right–you’re not alone and you’re not the first.

Now get up and get ready–open your heart to hear God speak and then allow Him to give you the words to speak to others in order to expose evil–from the highest to the lowest in the nation, tear it down and prepare to rebuild with the values and presence of The Lord. This day–you have been appointed, gifted and anointed to do all the things God has given you to do! Today–let’s get it done!

Without Excuse For Victory!

Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19 NASB).

Jesus has talking to those who followed Him at that time, but when we have a personal relationship with Him, we understand that through The Word, He is still speaking to those who follow Him. We have been given authority to “step on the devil’s head” and defeat him, by thwarting all of his efforts to defeat us in life.

What is the authority we have? “The name of Jesus who is above every name and at that name, every knee shall bow.” If we have the faith of a mustard seed we can “speak” to the mountains in our lives and move them out of our way. When we pray, we can have whatever we “say” but we must believe we have received in order to see it come to fruition.

The power we have is in our tongue–we use it to speak life or death over all our situations. If we learn to watch what we say and say only those things that lead to “having the abundant life” that we have been promised–right here on earth, we will have what we say we have. When we see the enemy raise his ugly head, we have the power to “keep him under our feet” by what we say and do.

Victory–in every area of our lives–is possible because we have the power to make it happen by what we say. We also have the power to defeat ourselves by what we say and do. What are you going to have in your life–victory or defeat?

We do not have to cave to every negative situation that arises in our lives. We can speak to it and see victory. When we pray, we must take action because faith without works–comes to nothing. Speak life to your life and live victoriously!

Lord, we thank You for giving us the power to have victory in our lives and for reserving a place for us in heaven when we reach the end of our journey, here on earth. Thank You for loving us enough to providing us an avenue to be saved from ourselves. This we pray in the name of Jesus!

No more excuses!

Is there something you need to do today that should have been done–a long time ago?

Well, now is the time to get it done–whatever the “it” is–do it now–no more excuses!

You’ve been saying for years that you wanted to go back to school–get it done, now!

You’ve been telling yourself and anyone else who would listen–that you were going to exercise–get it done, now!

You promised your children you would spend more time with them–do it now!

What about that promise to your spouse–whatever it may have been–stop procrastinating and get it done now!

Stop making excuses for not doing what you need to do and get it done now!

Don’t wait for another “tomorrow” because tomorrow’s sun may not shine in your life-get it done, now!

Find reasons to accomplish, not excuses to put things off-until…!  When we consistently delay in doing the things that must be done, we become our own worst enemy.  It is not the dog’s fault, the cat’s fault, the neighbor’s fault, the children’s fault, the spouse’s fault, the teacher’s fault, the school’s fault, the government’s fault–the fault–apathy–being a procrastinator–lies within us–own it and do something about it.

The more we attempt to do in order to accomplish all that God has put on our hearts to do–each day–the more we honor Him and the more we honor Him with what we do, the more blessings we can expect from Him.  No more excuses–get it done!
