When God Judges gods!

When God Judges gods!

God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the “gods”: “How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked?  Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.“The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’ But you will die like mere mortals; you will fall like every other ruler.”Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance. Psalm 82 NIV

Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. Exodus 23:24 NIV

Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Exodus 23:32 NIV

If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Deuteronomy 8:19 NIV

When the bible talks about gods (lower-case g and plural), the reference is actually to those things or people who are influenced by Satan. In the New Testament, 2 Corinthians 4:4–The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The King James Version states–“the god of this world” has blinded.

So who are the gods of this world? Anyone or anything that keeps people distracted and not focused on living according to God’s Word. This is especially true of those who think they are a “god” and believe they are the only ones who can “fix” things.

In June, we heard Trump declare, “America was in a terrible mess and he was the only one who could fix it.” Last week, he declared at a National Prayer breakfast that, “the world was in a mess and he was the only one who could fix it, because that’s what I do–I fix things.” He holds himself in very high esteem about everything.

Sounds like he “fixed” his way into the White House by encouraging the hacking by the Russians and helping to rig the election with the false propaganda promoted and lies spread about his opponent. It’s too bad he could not have won on his own merits because he has none. He has no integrity or honor–no sense of right and wrong–he simply does what he wants to do–without thinking about the consequences–blinded by the god of this world who has convinced him–he’s a god.

Now, people can argue or disagree with anything I say or anyone else says, but if they love truth and are guided by truth, they can ignore the blatant lies consistently being told by Trump and all of his spokespersons. He even posted a lie (fake news) deliberately on his FaceBook page about problems with refugees in Kuwait--simply to persuade his supporters that he’s right and everyone else is wrong. The lie was quickly exposed and debunked by officials in Kuwait--but he didn’t remove the post.

There are so many lies that he has posted on FaceBook and Twitter that I can’t keep up, but when I see them, I refute them and dare him or his mouthpieces to provide facts for their lies. The media is finally catching on–and fact-checking them at every turn–except for Fox News or Faux News because they don’t care about truth either–just sensationalism. They have demonstrated their lack of journalistic integrity time after time–but then–they are not a “real” news network; they are licensed as an “entertainment network.”So they entertain the gullible with sensationalized lies and people accept it as truth.

His need to be “better” than others is driving the insanity we see in the White House. I recently read that he was quite irritated about the Executive Orders being drafted and not being told what was in them before he signed them. Anyone with an ounce of sense could see–if paying attention--that his signing of the EO’s was for show and he had no idea what he was signing-that was evident with his difficulty in attempting to read some portions of them.

An interesting caveat to his need to be “better” than others–he’s number one–with the most lawsuits filed against a sitting president than anyone else (over 50), which by itself should not surprise anyone since he went into the White House with 75 lawsuits pending against him. If that wasn’t a red flag to people–well–to those who worship him–nothing matters.

And now–this obsession with maligning judges–is going to affect his nominee for the Supreme Court–since many in the Senate seem to have finally found their backbone.

At any rate–we see from the bible what happens to people when they worship gods, above the God of Heaven. Their gods will let them down and they will fail and be utterly destroyed. This is God’s judgment for the gods and those who worship them.

The Unknown God!

The Unknown God!

While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there. A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this babbler trying to say?” Others remarked, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection. Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting? You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.” (All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.) Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you. “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. Acts 17:16-25 NIV

Worshiping gods was nothing new to people when Paul preached the Good News. For centuries–man made idols–with their own hands–of stone, bronze, gold, wood, whatever they used at any given time–shaped into images to represent events that they didn’t understand. They had fertility gods, sun gods, moon gods, season gods, agricultural gods, –all these gods they created to explain what they didn’t understand because they didn’t have access to science (as we know it today) to discover the “whys” of what occurred.

And then there was the representation of the “unknown god” (science still cannot explain) who had a place in their worship venues. This altar bore this inscription because the men of that day and even now, could not explain certain events, but they attributed it a god.

Mankind is still worshiping idols–gods made by their own hands. They think the “things” have dominion of events that occur in our lives. Most of us understand superstitious nonsense and know that there are no “things” that have any power–no images created by mortals can do anything of their own accord. But then there are those whose faith is in statues, and beads, and images and their faith in the things cannot be shaken. Some worship all they develop and to keep what they make in the forefront of their minds–they emblazon their name on everything–and expect others to worship them, too.

However, since they do not know God or understand God, their faith in Him is tenuous at best because they are ignorant of His ways and purposes. The God of Heaven, the Creator of all things and without whom, nothing was ever created, is still the unknown God to many–who think they are the masters of their destiny. These did not read about Jeremiah and the conversation God had with him, “before you were formed in your mother’s womb, I knew you,” and later He said, “I know the plans I have for you.”

Now while it is true that we all have choices to make, when we follow God’s plans we are going to be successful as He defines success. God does not define success as man does–especially when man’s success is contingent upon a lack of integrity, intimidation, and bullying. When success is obtained by questionable means (leaving others holding the bag of their debts) that is not godly success. Godly success is only achieved by doing things the way God directs us. That success may not mean being a billionaire–but it will mean we are pleasing God.

So while many are still serving and worshiping gods created by human hands or machines, out of a religious spirit, there are some of us who are led by the Spirit of God and will only serve Him–the unknown God for those who don’t know Him.

None Like Our God!

None Like Our God!

Who among the gods is like you, LORD? Who is like you— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? Exodus 15:11 NIV

“There is none like You. No one else can touch my life like You do.

I could search for all eternity long and find, there is none like You!”

“In times like these, we truly need a Savior. In times like these, we need a friend.

Be very sure, your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock. His name is Jesus!”

Song lyrics keep rising in my spirit as I attempt to reconcile my thoughts and feelings  about all the tragedies occurring around us. Stuff happens–stuff we cannot control–but it does not mean that we don’t feel–inadequate, helpless, angry, forlorn, sad–but we must feel–because if we don’t feel something–we are dead inside. And anything dead, needs to be buried.

There are many gods people serve, but none of them are like our God.

Our God is not represented in the shaping of stones, He is the stone-shaper.

Our God is not represented in a string of beads or jewels; He is the creator of all that was ever created.

Our God is not contained or restricted by things or elements--He is everywhere at all times.

Our God knows everything about us and when the tragedies will occur–and He fills us with compassion, igniting desire to talk to Him, and to intercede on behalf of others.

Our God is compassionate, loving, merciful, and forgiving. And because He is, we who are filled with His Spirit–can be likewise.

In times like these, our true nature will come forth and we will either be more like God (we are not gods) or we will be insensitive to all going on around us.

His compassion towards His greatest creation–mankind–never ceases, never fails, and neither should ours.

His mercy is everlasting and though we may disagree with people about how they live and what they do–we should be merciful towards others when tragedies occur.

He forgives us–those who once were sinners–and some more sinful than others–but with God–sin is sin–no big ones or little ones, but we come to Him, repentant, He forgives all we’ve ever done and so should we–forgive others and ourselves.

He loves us so much He was willing to sacrifice Himself–for us–even though we rejected Him from the beginning as evidenced by our disobedience–He still loves us–unconditionally. And so should we–love others unconditionally, but unconditional love, does not mean we condone sin.

When we look at the attributes of God and how marvelous He is, we know we’ll never measure up to Him, but it should not keep us from trying to reach a place of perfection in which He will be well-pleased.

As For Me and My House!

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”Then the people answered, “Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!  It was the LORD our God himself who brought us and our parents up out of Egypt, from that land of slavery, and performed those great signs before our eyes. He protected us on our entire journey and among all the nations through which we traveled. If you forsake the LORD and serve foreign gods, he will turn and bring disaster on you and make an end of you, after he has been good to you.” Joshua 24:15-18, 20 NIV

Looking at Joshua’s adamant stance regarding serving The Lord, we should be reminded of how God functions through those who truly love Him.

If we serve other gods–whether people or things–we cannot love God of all Creation. Not once has a “thing” ever created anything. All the things that people worship are made by the hands of man. And man–has never created anything from nothing. All man has invented was with all that had already been created. It doesn’t take much to invent when materials are already accessible. But show me–one thing–created from nothing by the hands of man.

Since not one thing has ever been created by man, my household will serve The Lord.

I pray all will read Joshua’s experiences with God and God’s promises to Him and make a determination to serve Him and Him alone. When we seek Him for answers and direction, He will provide them–for His glory, not our own.

To God be all glory and majesty forever and ever.

Who You Gonna Call?

And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,
As the LORD has said,
Among the remnant whom the LORD calls. Joel 2:32 NKJV

When we hear a small child crying, every mother in the vicinity listens as our ears perk up because every mother knows her child’s cry. If the child can talk and we hear, “Mama” we run to save our child from whatever is making them call us. God, our Father, knows the cries of His children and He will respond.

Considering the many gods people worship, I wonder which of them will respond to a plea for help when the people who worship them call on them.

Will Buddha respond to a cry for help?

Will any of the prophets respond to a cry for help?

Will any of the beads, the crosses, the idols that so many worship respond to a cry for help?

Nothing made by the hands of man can respond to a cry for help or anything else. They have no life in them and therefore cannot do anything to save life. The only thing that things can do is what they are manipulated to do by the hands of man.

A car–and so many worship their vehicles–is a non-living entity and can do nothing on its own unless manipulated by a person–someone controlling what it does.

Houses–those structures in which we live and that some people worship–made by the hands of man and have no life of their own–cannot save anyone.

Equipment–made by men and manufactured to save lives–is marvelous when used correctly by men/women and can save lives, but if we simply look at them and call upon them, they will not respond.

When we are in trouble as those were at the time Joel was prophesying as God spoke, we can know there is but One who will respond to our call for help and save us from ourselves–The Lord. And just as a remnant–a handful–were saved then, there will come a time when another remnant–those who refuse to budge from their faith and stance pertaining to The Word of God–will be saved when they call upon the name of The Lord.

Not one person–especially those running for political office has the power to save us–individually or as a nation and they should all stop lying to appease the media and the masses who are gullible enough to believe them.

What this country needs is total reliance and dependence on Jesus Christ–living every day according to The Word of God, seeking His wisdom–constantly and ignoring all the hoopla and loud noises of those who can’t save themselves and certainly cannot save others.

Okay–we still have time to seek God and His wisdom in order to put the right person in the White House–someone who cares about all Americans, not just the rich or 1%, but all who live in the land.

Lord,

You said if we called upon You in the time of need You would save us and deliver us from evil. Right now, I’m calling on You to give us direction and wisdom to select the person who knows You and with whom You have an airtight relationship. Thank You for hearing and responding to this plea for help for the nation. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!

Is The God You Serve An Idol?

“For great is The Lord and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but The Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and glory are His sanctuary.” (Psalm 96:4-6 NIV).

When I read this again, I was reminded of all those naysayers–the ones who choose not to believe The God of heaven, who protest loudly and always insist that He is just a god like the others.

Let’s examine the other gods for a moment–the gods made by hands–symbolizing all manner of things that mere mortal at one time, could not explain. The gods that man created by carving images in wood, out of wood and in stone and out of stone–the gods who could not have been created by the hands of man, if God had not created the substance from which they were (and are) made. There images of sun gods, moon gods, rain gods, fertility gods, seed gods, water gods, death gods, heroic gods, jealousy gods, strength gods, intellectual gods, all kinds of gods and yet not one of them has ever created anything from nothing.

When man could not understand the function of a volcano, they threw in virgins to appease a god who they thought was angry with them. People sacrificed children upon burning altars to appease gods they didn’t understand, but thought they had some power–never realizing that true power–only comes from the God of Heaven as Elijah demonstrated with the prophets of Baal.

Even the god of this world–was created by the God of heaven–and the only power he has over anything is the evil that lurks in the hearts of men–those thoughts that people have and will not control–when the enemy speaks to their hearts, he influences what they do. This is the reason for all the senseless violence in the world today–the god of this world and his ability to influence the evil that already resides in man.

And to perpetuate the nonsense–we have people creating images that represent evil–worshipping those images that have no power to do anything but lie dormant–unless the hands of a mortal moves them.

Are we worshipping idols, yet today? Are we creating or using images made by the hands of man and giving the images more authority in our lives than the Living God?

Do we not understand that the God we serve–cannot be manipulated, moved, carted or sent anywhere for any reason because He is omnipresent–everywhere at the same time whether people believe Him or not?

Do we not understand that the God we serve–does not need us–we need Him? He created us–we did not create Him as some attempt to persuade. He is not a figment of our imaginations and His Word–though written by men, inspired by Him, is just as true today as it was hundreds of years ago.

The God of Heaven is yet speaking to people who are willing to hear and obey, but the problem is that many do not hear Him when He speaks because they have not read His Word–to even know His voice. If we don’t know what He has said, we won’t know what He is saying–because He never changes.

So now, think about it! True worship of God is done in the Spirit and those without the Spirit of God guiding them cannot worship God in the beauty of holiness. We don’t need images, or symbols, or anything else man-made to worship God or to communicate with Him. After all, when did any of those things–create who He is?  Is the God You Serve an Idol or the Living God who desires nothing more from us, than the praise of our lips–giving adoration and obeying His Word?

Insight Into The Mystery of Christ Jesus!

“Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has not been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together in the promise of Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 3:2-6 NIV)

What is a mystery? By definition–anything that is kept secret, unexplained, or unknown. Here Paul tells us that the mystery–the unknown has been explained to him by the Spirit of God because of the grace–unearned, unmerited favor given to him.

If the mystery of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been explained, then why is it that some are still left in the dark, shaking their heads either in amazement or unbelief?

The answer is quite simply this: For those who do not have the Spirit of God living within them, they cannot understand the spiritual wisdom given to those who are totally dependent upon His teaching and are always listening to Him who knows more than any mere man will ever know.

Though some of us have experienced spiritual revelation about God’s Word, we will never know the totality of God’s Word because if we did, we’d be arrogant enough to think we are gods. Even without the revelation experience, there are some individuals who think they are gods and attempt to corrupt and manipulate The Word to control others. In an effort to appear “spiritually deep” some people have caused others much anguish and pain, they eventually turn away from the One true God because their little gods treated them so miserably.

Who are these little gods? Anyone who thinks they are the only ones who have rightly interpreted the Bible and misuse their interpretation for a variety of reasons that include appeasing flesh. One such group is those who “reinvented God’s Word” to justify practicing sin–the “Rainbow Bible” which has eliminated any reference to homosexuality. Then there is the New World translation which eliminates any references to hell, and any translation that denies the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the Godhead totally. Let’s face it–there are so many translations which eliminate gender reference that many are confused.

God is a spirit–and Jesus called Him Father, therefore, He is a male archetype of what men should be–and He shall ever be a He, not a she or an it. Those of us who have Holy Spirit living within us know this because truth is only revealed to those operating in the spirit and others will not understand for they cannot understand.  Therefore, the mystery of the Gospel will remain a mystery for those who refuse to accept spiritual revelation.

But for those of us who have received the indwelling power of Holy Spirit, He can reveal to us–all the Father directs Him to give us. Notice that Holy Spirit will not say anything the Father has not said, or until the Father directs Him to speak to us. This is why we must receive the indwelling of Holy Spirit, so we can have access to revelation knowledge (revealed by Holy Spirit) and share what we’ve been given to others so they will also have access and insight to the mystery of Jesus Christ.  None of what we receive from Holy Spirit is intended for us to keep to ourselves, but to share the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ so all will come into the knowledge of God’s Truth. We are not responsible for whether people receive the information; we are only responsible for sharing it.

So pray in the spirit, study God’s Word, seek Him about everything and receive the revealed Truth to share with others, not to manipulate them as so many have attempted to do.

Of All the gods, You Alone Are God!

“Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.” (Psalm 86:8-10 NIV)

Up in the hills, deep into the trees,

On the altars of ignorance were burned,

Wood, animals, children, as stomachs turned,

Making idol sacrifices instead of bending knees,

Praying to the One True God, who does marvelous deeds.

From the beginning and still now, people exercise the inherent desire to worship something and when they find something they think works, that thing they will worship, forgetting that there is One God who created all things and without Him, nothing was created.

Before we had the means to explore and examine our environment, we attributed events to certain other “circumstances” giving credit to the sun god, the rain god, the fertility god, the garden god, the angry god, the happy god, the moon god, the good luck god, the bad luck god, the pretty god, the ugly god, the god of hair, the god of baldness, the god of the fat people, the god of the skinny people, the water gods, the fire gods–and I’m sure there are many more like “the lottery god” (dream books), but all of these gods are manifested into carved, shaped, molded things that are made by the hands of man. Every symbol and image that people use to worship and give some magical attribute– (by way of explaining events) was made by man or machines in our times. Now, if we made the things, what makes us think the things we made are greater than we who made them?

The Psalmist understood that with all the carved statues of trees or monuments of stones and worshipped as gods that among all those gods, there was but One, who was the greatest–the One who did marvelous deeds–the One all nations would worship. And then–as now–they had a name for all the gods. When Paul was speaking before “the learned men” he referenced all the gods who were represented and the “unknown god.” He explained to them who the unknown God was and why He was unknown to them.

Now, if the statues and monuments could have created themselves without the benefit of man’s involvement–I’d say worship them. If they could create themselves there is a great likelihood they could actually help somebody. But there’s the rub–they were made by people and then the people decided–what they made, had power.

Think about the things children make out of paper, Popsicle sticks and other materials and then allow their imaginations to soar–giving the things they made power. The things empowered their imagination, but they had no power of themselves.

Our God–our awesome God–who no one created since He has no beginning and definitely no end. He created the universe without any help from man–the sun shines during the day without man’s help, the moon makes it’s way to shine at night without man’s help, the earth turns on its axis, without man’s help, so why would we continue to believe that any “thing” made by the hands of man has any power?

Among the gods that people worship–their jobs, their spouses, their money, and some even their children, there is only one God who does great things and even though we are ridiculed about our belief in the “invisible God” it makes more sense to worship Him, than anything we make or manufacture to worship. Our God is the only self-existing God who needs no thing to prove His existence; He is the only wise God–the One who was wise enough to do all He has done without consulting any of us. He alone is worthy of our praise.

You alone are worthy, O God, of all our praise and adoration!

This Unseen God is The Only One Worthy of Praise!

“For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.” (Psalms 48:14 NIV)

Throughout the history of mankind, because we were created with a spirit of worship within, man has found something to worship–something they could attribute events they did not understand. This desire to worship was really the basis of the downfall of many civilizations and why God made it clear that He would not tolerate His people–His chosen, worshipping false gods who had no power.

We have to understand that myths are created out of the minds of people who witness events, but cannot explain why they happen. For the most part, it is this desperation to explain things that many do not understand the God of Heaven who created all things and so they insist that He is a myth, powerless, like the other pagan gods and goddesses.

Throughout the Bible–a summarized record of some historical events–we see the reference to pagan gods and goddesses. Asherah, Astarte, and Ashtaroth are three of the chief goddesses mentioned in the bible and many a statue or image was made of them for people to worship. El (chief high god) and Baal were the chief pagan gods. And then there was Diana–who was worshipped by those in Ephesus. A study of the gods and the “powers” attributed to them is interesting, but what is even more interesting is the fact that all of these “gods and goddesses” had stone or metal images made by the hands of man and people then worshipped the works of their hands.

In the 21st Century, with all of the knowledge we have access to and all the technological advances made in creating “things,” we are still worshipping the works of our hands more than the Creator who made all things and without Him, nothing–including us–was ever made.

But in this Psalm, the sons of Korah understood that in spite of the many gods that people worshipped and no matter what powers they attributed to them, they were no match for “This God.” The Lord God Almighty, Jehovah Jireh, El Shaddai, no matter what name we call Him, He is still God and without Him, nothing would ever be. And they knew and understood, “this God” and His power could not be contained in an object and therefore, there was no need to create pillars, temples, idols of any kind in order to worship Him–they understood that there was a power greater than anything they could imagine that keeps the water flowing, the sun shining, the earth rotating and by His Spirit–they saw miracles and won battles because others feared and revered –“the unseen God.”

This unseen God led armies into battle and the weaker armies won. This God, promised to never leave us and is always by our side. This God, by His spirit, communicates with us and leads us out of danger and loves us–in spite of us. This God–our great and awesome God, will always guide us–to the ends of our lives when we are willing to listen to Him and obey. This God holds the power of life and death and is watching over the universe and never misses anything that happens. He sees and hears all. What a mighty God we serve. He and He alone is worthy of our praise and with all of the things we could make–nothing will ever hold the power He has in His little finger–and therefore, we should not worship anything we create with our hands or machines or anything else, but in the spirit.

Hallelujah to our Awesome God!

True Witnesses Have Relationship With God!

“You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.” (Isaiah 43:10 NIV)

There is no one group–who have professed to be the only witnesses–whom God loves more than any other who believe Him because of those things that others have revealed through His Word and His love. When God spoke through the prophets in “that day” they knew exactly what He meant. God showed up and showed out–confusing every group of people who worshipped gods they made with their own hands. What He wanted them to understand is that He, the God of creation, was before any of the gods people erected from the materials that God created.

I’ve addressed this before, but I fail to understand how anyone could give “power” to inanimate objects created by hands of men and think that object is more powerful than the One who created the materials by which it was created.

Our God–in all of His awesomeness-has no beginning or end. Before time was–He was and after time ends, He will be and for now–He isl Unfortunately for some–they have not figured it out yet.

There are those who think that mere men–who have changed the intent of God’s Word to suit their own beliefs–have the only connection with God. This is why when they observe Communion (a sacrament observed by many churches), they only serve the elders with others looking on them. How ridiculous is that? Did they not read and understand that Communion is an event in which all partake? And with all of the flawed logic and theology presented by them which constantly changes, they proclaim they are His true witnesses.

So, who is a true witness? Anyone who in relationship with God, understanding the intent of His Word and does not attempt to use The Word to manipulate people, is a true witness of God. We who know and understand that God is not a respecter of people–we are all the same–we know how He does things and we also know and understand His thoughts are far above our thoughts. We understood the need for Him to come down to earth in the likeness of flesh to reconcile mankind back to Himself and was called Jesus, who upon returning to Heaven, provided us with power through His Spirit–Holy Spirit who dwells upon the inside of all true Believers and Witnesses of the One True God.

If Holy Spirit does not dwell within, how can one say they are “true witnesses” of the Living God who will not tolerate any mocking Him by manipulating others. This particular group states (I say this from personal experience from conversations with their “elders”) that their corporate group in New York is led by Holy Spirit, but Holy Spirit is not available to anyone else so they must do what they are mandated to do within their publications.

The devil is a liar! Holy Spirit is available to all who desire Him in their lives and does not discriminate, nor encourage alienation of family members or any other who choose not to believe their foolishness. And now they promote themselves as believers of Jesus when not too long ago, they denied He was the Son of God.

Know God for yourself–Know God’s Word for yourself–and know when the devil rises us to deceive and manipulate those who are gullible enough to promote false doctrine. If you know Him because of relationship with Him, you are a true witness of He who created all things and without Him–nothing was created.
