Warning to Rich Oppressors

Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. I keep hearing about how “good” people are who have failed to uphold their oaths of office in Congress and in White House.

If these are so good, show us the good they have done that benefits all people:

Any of the Republicans who claim to be Christians who have promoted bigotry and divisiveness during the years President Obama was in office and yet now, they want everyone to lick trump’s boots–show us the good they have done.

Most–if not all–are complicit in the Russian meddling with the 2016 Election and all will be exposed soon. Their hands are dirty with money laundering and promising favors and playing footsy with Putin. These so-called upright Christians who do more to harm the poor and the needy than they do to fend the rights of the poor and the needy.

Most–if not all–are only in politics for what they get out of it–access to world leaders and big business so they can make money by caving to lobbyists. And when they make money, they forget how to keep their oaths.

Most–if not all–have failed the United States miserably when they allowed trump to be their nominee. They knew he’d never “pivot” because he has no desire to pivot. Any time a person thinks they are better and far more superior to others–they see no need to change and they don’t. He showed us the first time around that he was a misogynist, bigot, and racist. He showed us he didn’t care about poor folks or black folks or any people of color by how he treated them.

Remember him having the homeless veteran arrested because having him on the corner brought down the value of his “tower?”

Remember how he chose to keep black people from renting any of his apartments?

Remember all the hateful things he said about Mexicans and Muslims?

Remember all the hateful lies he promoted about Hillary Clinton?

Remember how he used his foundation as a personal ATM for purchasing paintings, sculptures, and other paraphernalia that had nothing to do with the purpose of his foundation?

Remember him saying that he’s rich because he never uses his own money to do things?

Remember how he bragged at one point in his life about his only war was about fighting STDs?

Remember his hateful remarks to a war hero, after he obtained deferments for questionable reasons?

Remember how he is the only person who has proclaimed his wealth and fame?

Remember all those things he did during the campaign and now after being installed in the WH (the dump he said)?

If he is such a good person and those who keep making excuses for him are such good people, why is there such turmoil in the land? Why are hate groups thanking him for not calling them out? Why is Russia probe so unnerving to him?

If he is such a gifted communicator–why is that every time he speaks–everyone has to rush to explain what he “meant” because he didn’t say what he meant.

Why is it that after being in office for eight months, he is still only talking to his base which includes the hate groups and ignores the rest of America?

Why is he more concerned with spending money on an investigation that has proven no guilt on the part of Hillary about her emails?

Why is he attempting to help defraud every state’s voting practices with his “Voter Fraud Commission” that is more about suppressing votes that discovering any election fraud?

Why is it that he’s campaigning for 2020 and using the donated funds to pay for his son’s attorney?

Why is it that he thinks we are all stupid and he’s the only intelligent being on the planet?

Why is it that every surrogate who speaks on his behalf lies and lies knowingly, and yet they claim to be Christians? Is it that they have not read with understanding the Bible?

Why is it that he wants to cut funding for services for the poor and yet taxpayers are covering the costs of his children’s security, his, and all of his trips which are bringing in the bucks for his businesses?

Why is that the same lawmakers who claim to be “conservative” won’t challenge trump’s trips and not pay for them or for his children’s business trips?

Why? Why? Why? The more I write, the more questions surface and I know I’ll never get the truth out of the “good people” in Congress or the WH for truth is not known to them. Ask Kellyanne Conway who invented alternative facts for this administration’s alternative universe and wants reporters to be “forced to say something favorable” about trump. Really? When there is very little if anything favorable to say about him, why would she want reporters to lie? Oh–she wants them to be like her.

So, if there’s “any good” in any of the aforementioned and some not named specifically, but are GOP–let all of us know about the good they do because we certainly don’t see it manifest itself in their legislating laws.

They have allowed their greed and need for power and status to overrule common dignity and love for all and until they recognize it, confess and repent of it, we shall remain the laughingstock of the world and no one will consider us a leader of anything but foolishness.

With the next election, we can change that–and make sure that honor and integrity once again dwell in the White House and wisdom reigns for the benefit of all Everyday Americans. I won’t need anyone spinning lies for me because Truth and I have a pretty good relationship and as a clear communicator–I know how to say what I mean and mean what I say–without additional explanation from others.

When Evil Plots Fulfill God’s Plan!

Then one of them, name Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, “You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than the whole nation perish.” He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, and not only for that nation but also for the scattered Children of God, to bring them together and make them one. So from that day on they plotted to take his life. John 11:49-53 NIV

What the devil intends for evil, God uses to fulfill His plans! When we look at prophecy–from The Word, not the mouths of those who would deliberately misguide others–we see that prophecies (spoken as God speaks to His prophets) and His Word will be fulfilled, no matter what the devil does. He turned the evil intent by Joseph’s brothers to good–fulfilling His plan that Joseph would have rule over his brothers. Saul sought to kill the Believers, but God used his zeal and passion to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, once he was transformed on the road to Damascus.

Though we, who have discerning spirits–know The Word and know that the evil perpetuated upon the nation in the guise of legalism by those who sit in high places–we should remember how God uses the evil the devil attempts to do to fulfill His Plans.

We do not need to concern ourselves overly much about the condition of mankind for God has a plan–and His plan will be fulfilled–no matter how He has to bring it about. Our concern should be in promoting the Gospel–no matter how much people resist hearing The Word--we continue with diligence and zeal to say what God says.

Perhaps, because of the state of the nation–God is using this time to reveal the hearts of those who proclaim to know Him in order to prune their hearts so they can see themselves clearly and get right with God.

What we need to do more than ever is to pray for those in authority–so they will truly hear from God and do only those things that God tells them to do.

Justice must prevail–according to God’s righteousness, not man’s polluted views of God’s intent for mankind.

And we know–that in the end–we shall stand before Him and give an account of what we have done in the earth. Will we be exposed for plotting evil or good? It is indeed time–or rather past time–for all to search their hearts, according to God’s Word–not political correctness and ask God to transform us–acting as True Ambassadors for good, not evil.

Motivating Love and Good Works!

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.” (Hebrews 10:24 NLT)

For some people–it is so much easier to instigate aggravation towards others, than to encourage motivation to love and do good.

We see this every day–on the news–in social media–some use these vehicles to promote hatred and bigotry as an outward expression of who they are–and they don’t like being alone in wallowing in their self-hatred.

People (with media assistance), promote unfounded rumors as truth–hoping to persuade the masses to take their side.

Social media users, take the slightest sound bite or misconstrued statement and perpetuates a flurry of “guilty verdicts” when people have not been given opportunity to be proven innocent.

How do we change this climate? If we–who proclaim to know Truth and desire to please Him change what we do, we can influence others.  We will use the same vehicles that others use to spread hate–to spread love and encourage others to love and do good.

Think–before doing anything or saying anything!

How many people will be negatively impacted by what is said or done?

Consider what is said or done–is it because of personal opinion, low self-esteem, self-hatred, or anger at another?

What will it take to bring a smile to someone’s face or ignite tears of joy instead of frowns and tears of sadness?

How many people have been outraged and blow up social media in outpourings of love and kindness, rather than hatred and innuendo?

Is it true–that hate spreads like an unchecked wildfire, and love flows as slow as molasses? Are we adding fuel to the wildfire or we changing the composition of the molasses to faster-flowing maple syrup?

People who hate demonstrate the same bitterness that accompanies sucking sour lemons for a life-time. People who love–want to share love and spread it like a warm blanket on a cold night.

Think–how can we change what is perceived as an atmosphere of hate into an atmosphere of love that wants only the best for everyone?

If we truly think about these things, perhaps we’ll hear Holy Spirit speak to our hearts and we will obey and move towards changing the world, one blog post, one tweet, one prayer, one encouraging word, one “I love you,” one act of kindness every hour of every day, one at a time and see the love coming back at us.

Lord Jesus, help us to get into position to receive Your Love, and share it with others, leaving no room for bitterness and hatred in our hearts and certainly not allowing any bitterness and hatred to flow through our fingers onto keyboards that end up in cyberspace, igniting chaos and confusion, but rather use the love in our hearts in encouraging love towards all–unconditionally.

He Is Good!

“You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees” (Psalm 119:68 NIV).

People may say a lot of things about David (some good, some not so good), but in this verse (as in the entire Psalm), we see acknowledgement of who God is and what God does.  Consider everything David went through, before coming King and during his reign.  Even though he was hailed a hero, he was betrayed and had to run for his life.  Even though he knew God, he committed a horrific act in manipulating a man’s death and using his wife.  Even though his children, were not the best children in the world, he still understood God’s goodness.  Even when he was dying, he was glad he had known God’s goodness. And God, even though David was not perfect, saw him as a “man after my own heart”. Wow!  And because God was so good to David, David was always imploring God–to “teach him” more about Him and He did.

We don’t have to be perfect to receive from God, but we must know and understand how God operates.  Everything He does or allows, is for our good.  Even the trials we face, are designed to make us stronger.  Those who hate us–provide us a reason to communicate with God, daily.  Those children who won’t follow our directions, remind us of how God still loves us, even when we don’t follow His directions.

So, the phrase that has become so popular and prevalent over the last few decades, “God is good all the time and all the time, God is good” didn’t start with one church or one preacher in the 20th Century.  The fact that God is good was acknowledged a long time ago and since He is God, He can be nothing else but good.  He is good–He was then, He is now, and He will forever be who He is and do what He does.  Now that we know that much, are we imploring Him to teach us more about Him?

Lord, thank You for being so good to us, even when we have not been so good to You.  Thank You for loving us enough to give us chance, after chance to get living for You right.  Teach us daily, O Lord, how we are live and treat others, to Your glory.  In Jesus name, I pray, Amen!

Excerpt 2–“Battlerama! Super Tweens To The Rescue!”

After seeing the hopelessness, they turned inward to their new-found home and created a circle and meditated.  Modsi saw them moving forward, but not away from where they were.  They now had to think about the best way to find a way to stop Loftus.

Noissa started speaking in a quiet voice.  “We know he feeds upon fear and doubt.  We also know he hates with a passionate all who dare to care.”

Modsi responded, “That’s true, but we also have to consider the power he harnesses from those who hate.  That’s why we have to stop him and soon.  If he creates enough situations for people to hate, he’ll infuse their hate with his and have more power than we do.  He has to be stopped and soon. We cannot do it by ourselves; he has already gained too much ground.  We must find fearless ones to train in order to stop him.”

Ytirge joined in, “The only fearless ones are those who have not had an opportunity to learn fear.  We must seek those first and inspire others later. Think, Modsi, where do we find fearless ones?”

Modsi thought for a moment and the only ones she knew about would be children who had not been taught to fear.  “We must find children, wherever they may be and choose the right ones to train.”

“How will we know them when we find them?” Ytirge asked.

“Think,” Noissa said.  “Think!”

As they huddled in their circle, the vision became clearer.  All over the world were children who had not yet known fear.  Some knew anger, but they could be trained under the right conditions and right now, The Wisteria didn’t have time to be choosey. They decided to watch the children in action for a day and then make a decision.  They knew they had to make the right decision the first time because they would not get a second try.
