Maximizing The Gifts Given!

Maximizing The Gifts Given!

Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. I Corinthiains 12:1-12 NIV

We have all been given spiritual gifts as well as natural gifts as He determines, not how we covet. The gifts He gives–the innate ability to accomplish–is ours to maximize for the good of all, not just us as individuals for our own glory, but to His. Now is the time for everyone seeking to understand their gift to work to maximize what has been given and to use those gifts–naturally and spiritually–for the good of all–especially Americans.

Some of us–naturally have been gifted with curiosity, which we can maximize by our intensity to know–through research and critical thinking–asking the right questions and analyzing the answers we receive.

Some of us–naturally have been gifted with the ability to connect with others through either charismatic personality, gift of gab or intuitive reasoning.

Some of us–naturally have been gifted with compassion and empathy for others around and others see us as nurturers.

Some of us–naturally have been gifted with ability to communicate through the effective use of words and understand that words matter.

As for the spiritual gifts–God has given those gifts He chooses to those who will use them to His glory and through constant use, prayer, and humility–those gifts are maximized in our lifetimes. Whether we understand how God chooses to whom He gifts is totally irrelevant since we know that His gifts and calls are without repentance. In other words, either the gifts are used or they stagnate depending on what we do with them, not what we become or how we act.

When we actually realize what gifts reside in us and how we can maximize them–both naturally and spiritually–we begin to understand the roles we can play in society to make this world a better place. This then, is how I plan to utilize the gifts given to me to govern in the White House as President of the United States in 2021.

God has given me an abiding intensity to discover knowledge and an ability to analyze what I discover, effectively communicating in writing and in verbal communications conclusions that are verifiable. He has poured into me a deeply rooted faith in Him that leads me to believe I can move mountains–which is why I plan to run for president and win.

Now, I’m not foolish enough to believe an election win will be accomplished through osmosis, so I’m spending my time wisely, making sure my name and stance are well known in advance of the upcoming elections. I am not seeking financial contributions from anyone at this time, but their support and assistance in getting my names on ballots across the country. With enough support to get my name on the ballot and opportunity to express my stance, publicly for the nation to hear, I know wisdom will intervene in the hearts of those listening and they will watch what I do, coming to determination that I will do what is best for all Everyday Americans–abandoning none–but seeking solutions to all problems from those who are wiser than I.

To that end, I implore everyone reading to get to know me better. If you’ve reading my blogs for the past seven or eight years, you know my faith has not wavered. It has only been since April 15, 2017 that I was inspired to get more actively involved in politics because of the chaos and miasma that currently exists in the White House. Though I have not the political background of some other contenders for the White House, I have a more than average knowledge of how government works, what’s good for the economy, how to be civil to others, and how to take a strong stand–without flinching–against those who would be enemies of America. I have lived the challenges and struggles of the average Everyday American and can seek solutions that benefit all.

In addition to my blogs found here, additional information about me can be found on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Medium, Amazon, and of course in all of my books found here

Any other questions, not addressed through these media can be left on my page.

My love of the Lord and desire to please Him in all things–especially in defending the rights of the poor, needy and vulnerable are stronger than ever and I don’t see a change in that regard. Your support is needed and appreciated if we are to have an opportunity to see how God works things out when maximizing the gifts given to me–and you!

Raising The Standards

This Is For You!

This post–is for you!

I don’t always have the time to say, thanks for all who read my daily posts, so I’m taking the time now!

I appreciate your diligence, comments, your online friendship and love of The Lord!

I pray for all who follow me and those who don’t. My prayer is that God will truly unite all who belong to Him so there is no division in the Body of Christ, for any reason. I believe that when we receive His love as He gives it–unconditionally, then we have more than enough to share with others.

Know that I love you and you are forever in my prayers. Receive God’s best for your life today and for those you love, In Jesus’ name.

Loving to love you!

Mothers–Special People!

Who gets up–day after day–whether they’ve had a good night’s rest or not–to take care of families?

Who works inside the home and out–to make sure all their loved ones have what they need?

Who seldom acknowledges illness, but keeps going in order to make sure others are well?

Who cares about the lives of all they love–making sure they eat right, sleep well, and live right?

Who does all of this–24/7–365 days a year–where the pay is less than minimum wage?

Mothers, Of Course–It’s what we do!

It’s just the way God made us–with love overflowing!

On this special day, recognizing special people–Happy Mother’s Day!

The World System!

“If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:19).

When Jesus was speaking to His disciples, He was letting them (and us) know that if the world could hate him (vs. 18), it would certainly hate anyone else whom He had chosen.  He chose the twelve who followed Him and one of them was a devil.

In the world’s (influenced by the enemy) system, there is honor among thieves, the embezzlers, the dishonorable politicians, the whores, and all of those influenced by the enemy.  They love one another and support and encourage each other and hate and denigrate anything or anyone who attempts to live a godly life.  That’s the world’s system.

Now if the world (those influenced by the enemy) can love its own, why can’t we? Why can’t all who proclaim to be believers love each other and support and encourage one another?  Why is it that those living by the world’s system appear to be doing more for each other than we do (appearances can be deceiving)?

Don’t get discouraged by the Word or by anyone else attempting to dissect it, including me.  My intent is not to discourage, but to point out that the first chosen–Jesus and His disciples–were the targets of hate and disdain.  So, why do we think people should treat us any differently, when we, too are chosen?  Celebrate being chosen and being hated by the world (we became targets for the enemy’s wrath), for if the world hates us–we are doing what we should do–promoting the Gospel and loving one another!  Hurray!  Glory Hallelujah!  “For by this shall we know one another, by our love for each other.”

Thank You God for choosing and saving me and for the world’s system, that I might be known as I promote The Gospel and love all!

Can’t Nobody Do You Like Jesus

Forgetting the obvious grammatical inaccuracy, never a truer statement was ever made.

When we get right down to it, there is absolutely no one who can do for us, through us and to us like Jesus!  Hallelujah!

Forget about all those who profess to be your friends–when the going gets tough–they leave you abandoned, wondering what happened.  Not Jesus!

Even family members jump ship at the slightest roil in a situation–they cannot handle the turbulent waters and they choose the life boats because of a lack of faith–in you and your relationship.  Not Jesus!

When we feel all alone, isolated, miserable and devastated–we can count on Jesus to remind us–we are never alone, never unloved, and we always on His mind!

When we need direction and wise counsel–don’t count on people who are just as flawed as you are–take it to The Lord and let Him work it out on your behalf.

Looking at everything that could happen and knowing that we can only trust in the Lord–yeah, can’t nobody do us like Jesus!

Books That Matter

Teach Me!

As an educator, I am especially delighted when I have students who really want to learn.  I know how to distinguish between those who want to learn and those who are just taking up space.

Those who want to learn come to classes prepared–they have their books, paper, pen, and questions about things they did not understand when they read their assignment.  They are participants, not observers.

Those who do not want to learn, come to classes with excuses as to why they have no book, nothing to write on and nothing to write with.  They have no questions because they didn’t pay attention to the assignment they needed to read.  They had to work late, they didn’t get any sleep because the baby kept them up, the dog was stolen, their car wouldn’t start, their live-in beat them up, they didn’t have breakfast, and this list could go on and on.  They are observers, not participants.

Imagine the frustration felt I feel and I’m sure other educators feel when they have a room full of observers instead of participants. Imagine the frustration the President feels when elected politicians are observers of the problems, not participants in the solution. Then imagine the frustration that God must feel when we are observers of life instead of participants.

We go through the motions, accepting every whim and doctrine that blows our way, never questioning anything, never reading the bible, never participating in anything remotely spiritual and yet always expecting something miraculous to happen.

When the disciples saw Jesus praying, they didn’t feel comfortable in praying themselves (especially after Jesus berated those who pray for attention) so they asked Him to teach them and He did. Whatever we ask of the Father in His name, we will have, if we have faith and doubt not.

When we struggle through life constantly making mistakes and never really understanding what we should be doing in order to have the abundant life He promises, are we asking Him to teach us how to have it?

Father, in the name of Jesus, Teach me, O Lord, how to live a life that is pleasing to You that I may receive all of Your promises and be blessings to others all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

God is Yet Speaking

For whatever reason, there are many who say that God “is not speaking” to anyone these days.  I stand ready to refute that claim, by anyone who makes it.  If someone truly believes that God is not speaking, I would have to question their relationship with God.  Before the arrival of Jesus on the earth, God spoke “through” the prophets and the law.  When Jesus walked the earth, He “spoke what His father said”, using parables so the people could relate.  Now that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of His Father, He sent His Spirit back to remind us of all things said, and to show us those things to come.  The Holy Spirit will also “speak to our hearts” regarding any matter–whether it is a small matter or a great one; He still speaks.  As a matter of reference, I would refer to my latest book.  I cannot take credit for the idea of the book, but do proclaim–with everything in me–that God spoke to it to my heart, and the writing flowed without great effort on my part.  Those who have read it–agree that God’s hand is in the plan.  The Word tells us that He is never without a witness of His goodness and I declare Trapped to be a witness of His goodness through the works of my hands.  “Nothing the enemy attempts to do shall prosper or have any place in my life” is my constant proclamation and it so because The Word confirms it!  Read the book–and if you cannot see God in it–I will respect your position! Speak Life

“Life and death, success and failure are all in the power of the tongue.” Speak life, speak success–ignore the liars, doubters, scorners, and naysayers. They do not have the last word over your life–The Great I Am–has the first and last Word over your life. He is Alpha and Omega–He planned your life from the beginning to the end. His plans are designed to prosper you and not to harm you. Set aside the doubts about your plans and run with His plans, crossing the finish line victoriously and receive your crown! Hallelujah for Our Risen King! He and He alone is worthy of all our praises!
