Hallelujah Anyhow!

Hallelujah Anyhow!

Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!” Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Revelation 19:5-7 NIV

It’s mid week and it has been an interesting week for a number of reasons.

In politics–it has been one conspiracy theory after another–the same stuff repeated over and over again–the same hate spewed over and over again, but I’m just looking to the day when The Lord returns and none of this–happening on earth–will ever matter again. Hallelujah, anyhow!

On a personal level–some things get better and then some–well–this roller coaster called life is what it is–it has it’s up and downs and we just keep it moving to get through it. Hallelujah, anyhow!

No matter what we do or say–someone is not going to be happy and some will even get so angry they’ll do stupid stuff and wonder why their lives get so messed up and few people want to be around them. Hallelujah, anyhow!

What we have to learn to do is to praise God through everything–the good, the bad, the ugly and just look to Him who is the author and finisher of our faith. No one in politics can do for us what God does–so I’m just going to praise Him! I’ll praise when I understand what’s going on around and even when I don’t. I’ll praise Him when there is money in my pocket and even when there isn’t. I’ll praise when I’m feeling great and praise Him even more, when I don’t feel 100% percent. Praising God is not about my feelings or emotions at any time; it’s about praising Him for His goodness all the time–no praise ever withheld because of our circumstances! Hallelujah, anyhow!

There are some people who have decided they don’t like my political stance and have stopped following me on social media accounts. I’m not angry or sad–it’s their right to follow those of their choosing and it’s my right to say what I want to say–about anything and everything as long as I’m not upsetting My Daddy–who is Lord of Lords. Hallelujah, anyhow.

I’m praising God for giving me the stamina and the courage to defy those who pretend they belong to Him, but are actually employed by the enemy. Hallelujah, anyhow!

I’m praising God for Him choosing me to be a watchman in this hour–bold enough to speak Truth whether people want to receive it or not and yet capable of loving all–no matter what. Hallelujah, anyhow!

There is no reason for anyone who belongs to Him to be fearful or sad or angry about anything going on around us. He is the same God–yesterday, today and forever, who deserves our praise no matter what. When we KNOW and UNDERSTAND HIS WORD, we don’t have to fight with others over differences of opinion. We just trust God to know what He’s doing and know that everything will be as He desires it to be.

No matter what men might try to do to us–they are limited in their ability–unless we allow them to do so–to keep us from praising God–so, Hallelujah, anyhow!

Yours, Lord!

“Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all” (I Chronicles 29:11,12 NIV).

How wonderful, how great is our God?

Everything that was, is and will be–is a result of the greatness of The Lord!

He is exalted above all things because He created all things!

Wealth and honor–power to prosper and succeed–all come from Him and through Him.

He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Great I Am–He is all we need–our healer, our provider, our protector, our comforter–the lover of our souls and we will exalt His Name forever!

He gives strength to weak, vision to the blind, insight to wise, healing to the sick, comfort to the lonely, and direction to all who are willing to hear Him and obey!

Yes, Our God is an awesome God–He reigns from heaven above and looks upon His children with mercy and grace, ready to forgive when we repent, and never leaves us alone in the battle. Our God is awesome! Keeps us in the valley, on the mountain tops, no matter where we are–we are never alone–He is always there!

Who is like our God? There is none like Him. No one who can do the things He does for those who love and honor Him. Nobody greater than our God!

We will bless The Lord at all times; His praise will continually be in our mouths, on our lips, our hearts shall sing with gladness and as we proclaim His greatness to all who have ears to hear! We will magnify Him until the sun no longer shines in the universe or moves in its orbit. We will praise Him until the mountains fall into the sea. We will exalt the name of our God until there is no one left to hear–How great is our God!

Bless Him all people, of all nations, bless His Holy name while we yet have a chance!  Give Him the glory that only belongs to Him. Hallelujah!

There’s a praise in my soul that just cannot be held back and this is the day, I will praise Him with everything in me--I will lift my voice in song, I will clap my hands, I will dance in praise of Him and I will shout the victory I have in Him from the rooftops so all will hear–Our God is awesome–He can move mountains, dry up the seas and in an instant–restore all that was ever lost–there is nothing too hard for Our God to accomplish, when we believe and trust in Him! I am His and He is mine! Yours, Lord! Glory to God in the highest!

Great Love!

“For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead” (Psalm 86:13 NIV).

I encourage everyone to read this entire Psalm get a better understanding of the focus attempted here.

If it had not been for God’s great love for me, where would I be?  If He had not provided deliverance, through Jesus Christ, I would still be on the path to hell!

Not that I’m a perfect person now, but when I look back at the things that I did, and remember the way I sometimes treated people, I can honestly say that “heaven was not an option” for me, then.  I did not commit any murders–unless we count what I attempted to do to others by undermining their self-worth.  I did not commit grand theft–unless we count stealing hearts deliberately and then letting them dangle and rot.  There were days when I was not a very nice person.  I did what I wanted to do with little thought for how my actions would affect others.  I was on a mission to debilitate every male I met because of what had been done to me as a child.  I was so foolish that I thought I’d never live past 50 and when people told me I’d end up in hell, I’d say, “well, it will be a party because everyone I know will be there.”  How foolish is that?

But O how great is our God!  It was His love that saved me and got me on the right path. He put people in my life who would not give up on me and they helped me to see that “heaven was not only an option; it was assured.”

So, if I offend anyone reading by praising God–please understand–I have a right and I will praise Him with everything in me.  You don’t know like I know, what He’s done for me!  You don’t know how He set me free–from anger and bitterness and unforgiveness.  You don’t know how He saved me from the pit I was digging deeper every day for myself.  You don’t know!  I will praise Him every waking hour, in my sleep, online, in my books–wherever and whenever I can–I will praise His Holy Name.  I know without a smidgen of a doubt, that had I been the only person on the planet, Jesus would have made that great sacrifice–just for me! If He did for me; He’ll do it for anyone else who chooses to receive His love!  How great is His love towards us!  Hallelujah!  Thank God for saving me!
