There has been more hatred and bigotry spewed in the last weeks than we saw in the last eight years. Never has there been such a sad representation of humanity stemming from the White House as we’ve seen: hatred spewed against Black NFL players, NBA players, and worst of all–the residents of Puerto Rico–Brown population in crisis due to Hurricane Maria–suffering from loss of homes, electricity, water and the basics one needs to live and the WH idiot unloads on the mayor of San Juan because he’s just that–a total and complete idiot.

And the sad part of the entire situation is those who are consistently propping him up by creating lies to justify his lack of empathy and compassion as demonstrated in his thoughtless tweets. Mick Mulvaney, and Steven Mnuchin and all the other spokespersons in this administration are a perfect example of the blind leading the blind when tell the public lies. They have also been exposed for their use of private jets for which tax payers have paid the price. But then again, they’re following the lead of the WH idiot who has cost tax payers millions in his use of his properties for his weekend forays and charging the government for the security detail to stay there as well as the cost of security for all of his children’s play times.

This administration is the biggest joke on the global stage since the resident of the Oval Office has not yet demonstrated an ability to think–rationally and logically–and is more prone to act out of his hurt feelings–his fragile ego–and narcissistic personality disorder than with any wisdom (not demonstrated in anything he’s said or done).

There are a number of people responsible for this dilemma–the Evangelical leaders who lied to their congregants about trump being God’s choice, the Russians who orchestrated the rigged election, the Main Stream Media who chose not to call out the lies perpetrated by the trump campaign, and the gullible, weak-minded, frustrated, angry people who refused to see truth, and voted for the menace. Though some have recently acknowledged their regret, there are still far too many haters–bigoted persons who support this white supremacist who is anti-American and shows it on a daily basis. And we cannot overlook the role of the GOP who allowed his nomination because of the fringe benefits they received–a guaranteed win because of the collusion with Russia. They are all complicit and are doing nothing to protect Americans from the onslaught of other nations or even protect us from the greed and corruption of the reigning political party. And they think–this is God’s best for us!

Heaven help us all to live through this nightmare and bring us back onto the path of light and truth before total disaster can befall us. Open our eyes so we can see without the blinders of hate and distrust and bigotry and misplaced loyalty. Open our hearts so we may know and reveal truth that aligns with God’s Word. Open our mouths so we may speak out against lies and untruths and injustices of all kinds. Open our ears so we may hear God when He speaks and act accordingly for the benefit of all mankind, loving as He does–unconditionally.

We are not defeated–yet and where there is a will, and people who act according to God’s Will–we will survive and thrive in spite of the attempts to cause immeasurable harm to many–especially those who not white. We can do this by electing an Everyday American who cares about all–regardless of skin tone, religious beliefs, or anything else. In this country, Americans need an American with heart and compassion to lead us–with wisdom and truth being our standard of integrity.

Who’s Really Free?

The debate about whether to stand, kneel or sit during the a presentation of the National Anthem has become a contentious discussion. Now, it would seem that everyone wants to chime in and have an opinion and most seem to think their opinion is the only one that counts. Before anyone’s opinion can be counted, everyone must understand what the debate represents. Kneeling during the anthem is a protest against the injustice suffered by those in the Black community because of police brutality–unarmed Black males being killed.

Now, whether people understand the angst felt in the Black community or not really is not debatable.  Unless a person is Black, they would not understand why some of us feel so strongly about the deaths of young Black males. To fully understand, one must understand the discrimination we’ve suffered for a very long time. And just to make sure, the message is understood, I encourage everyone to review the history of Black people in this country.

We were imported as slaves, treated like animals or worse, denied the rights provided every human being, babies taken from mothers, families separated, lynched, burned, wrongfully jailed and executed without recourse through any judicial system because the laws were against us, not for us. It was not until 1968 that most of us had the right to vote because we didn’t count. Most people don’t realize the electoral college was established for those who owned slaves–so they wouldn’t have an advantage over those who didn’t. (14th Amendment, Section 2) Slaves were set free in 1863, but were still treated like third-class citizens or worse. We had been denied the right to pursue an education, kept of out certain careers and even though many Black men fought in wars “for this country” they were still denied the same rights as others.

There is a stanza of the anthem–written as a poem in 1814–that most are not aware of and it embellishes slavery rather than denounces it and hence–the kneeling during the anthem–is about systemic racism; not about patriotism!

Oh, say! can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,

When we understand that this country has diminished the rights of Black people and still does not respect us as human beings, we protest and with a peaceful protest where no one is harmed or violated–there should be no dissension or debate about the right to do so.

When trump disrespected Black football players by calling them SOBs, he demonstrated his racism and all who applauded him and encouraged his racist rhetoric demonstrated where they stood. Systemic racism is still a problem in this country and there is no denying it. The fact that over 70% of all football players in the NFL are Black speaks volumes and the fact that the biggest fans are white also speaks volumes–we are still seen as being nothing more than “entertainers” for those with “white privilege.”

I’m taking a stand against those who claim the football players are arrogant, spoiled brats and should be “grateful” for the opportunity to become rich. Do those who make these statements say the same thing about “White Players” or is it just a condemnation of the Black players? Every Black and White football earned the right to play by their relentless pursuit of excellence in playing the game. They were not given spots on a team, they earned them. 

For decades–probably to the chagrin of many people who said, “Black people were inferior to White people–we have proven time and time again, we are not an inferior race of people, but those who are fearful and bigoted have not stopped thinking they are the superior race. Well, I have news for all–there is only one race of people–the human race and none superior to another, but if people want to deal with facts and not fiction, they only have to understand where man originated–on the continent of Africa–and if there was a superior race–it would be the African race–where life began.

If we ever get to a place in society where we can see people and not color, we’ll all be better off. We can live in peace and spend our time–collectively trying to find cures for cancer and other debilitating diseases, establishing lifestyles that will preserve the planet for the benefit of all, and keeping the human race–alive, prosperous and vital for the next millennium.

The truth of the matter is–until we are all willing to discuss–rationally–the social injustices that exist with the systemic racism–nothing will ever change. We must come together and understand “the reasons” for the divide and then pursue unity as a whole–for all Americans.

How We Avoid Hate!

To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Proverbs 16:1,2

When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. Better a little with righteousness than much with injustice.  7,8

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. The wise are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction. 18-21

A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends. A violent person entices their neighbor and leads them down a path that is not good. 28, 29

Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. 32

One of the most significant ways we can avoid situations that lead to hate is to understand how hate manifests itself. Hate doesn’t just show up out of the blue–it is planted, fertilized and nurtured to fruition by those who are insecure, fearful, and resentful (and incapable of rational thought).

People who have severe doubts about their own ability to accomplish things resent those who are confident and their lives demonstrate their confidence. Generally speaking, they will fertilize their insecurities by blaming others for what they have not achieved, and the more they blame others, the more they nurture their hatred. They teach their children to hate others because of fear–not knowledge–and those fears for the most part are baseless because insecure people–don’t venture far from their base of comfort. In other words, they have not lived a full life–one in which they ventured far from home and experienced life outside their parameters of their comfort zone.

The same people are incapable of understanding that we can be passionate in our disagreement with others, but we don’t have to allow the disagreement to lead to hate. We must understand that it is our right to disagree, but we can disagree, agreeably which won’t lead to wars or rumors of wars or bullying rhetoric. Hate spreads when people who are incapable of rational thought never realize that they are not always right and that others don’t have to agree with them. They have yet to understand what “individuality” means.

If God had wanted clones–He could have created them. We would all look alike, think alike and never have any need to use our brains or vocal cords.

What we must do to avoid the proliferation of hatred, bigotry, and senseless fear is to realize we all have something to contribute to society in productive, constructive ways and none should be ignored or disregarded simply because of race, ethnicity, religion, gender or any other factor. We must realize that God created one race of people–the human race with one blood surging through all–it’s red–no matter the color of skin is.

With insecurities–comes the tendency to think a person or a group of people is superior to another. In order to perpetuate the lies–they create all sorts of false data, write books with suspicious documentation to prove they are superior to others. We see this in the beliefs of all the “white nationalists” or other hate groups who actually believe they are superior to every other group of people. They do not know or understand that the cradle of civilization began on the continent of Africa and that skin tones changed as man migrated to cooler climates. Education would be extremely beneficial to debunk all these myths, but for those who hate–irrationally–they tend to think that having an education is synonymous with being elitist. Therefore, they revel in their ignorance and nurture their hate.

There’s an adage that says, “ignorance is bliss” and we can see that being true for those who choose to blame others for their shortcomings and positions in life. They’re happy with their ignorance and would rather hate than learn to live peaceably in society.

We know that when we disagree (especially in households), we should never allow the sun to go down and we’re still angry. Be passionate in disagreement, but ready to concede the possibility of being wrong and be willing to do the research to make a verifiable point and not just rely upon “an opinion” with no legs.

We can avoid planting the seeds of hatred and bigotry by recognizing that we are part of a greater world and we don’t have a right to expect others to live  by what we think or believe. We can educate ourselves (with all of the accessible technology) and not hold others accountable for what we don’t accomplish. We can learn to love–unconditionally–just as God loves us and with that love–there’s no room for hate. We can stop fertilizing and nurturing hatred by accepting responsibility for what we do and say or for what we don’t do. We are responsible for everything we say–good or bad–and everything we do–good or bad and we cannot blame others for our actions or inactions.

When we learn to critically analyze why we think what we think, believe what we believe, or do what we do–we’ll discover there is more to life and living than what we think we know.

We Must Continue The Fight!

Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.” Joshua 10:25 NIV

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12 NIV

In the bible there are records of many battles, most of which are led by men, but some only by direction of a woman, Deborah. For those who are foolish enough to believe that a woman shouldn’t be in the White House as president–they might want to revisit the bible they claim they believe as it pertains to their faith in God. God will use whoever is willing to be used.  With that framework in mind–willing to be used–we know God did not choose trump since he is neither willing to be used by God, nor interested in being president for all Americans.

But we cannot afford to stop fighting for justice for all–now is the time to gear up and prepare for the long haul. Hatred and no one who promotes hatred–regardless of the “words” they say, will not reign in America as long as Americans refuse to allow it reign.

This country–(reminder) was inhabited by the Natives when the first settlers arrived. The Natives helped them to survive their first winter and what did the settlers do to show their appreciation? They fought against them, killed them and took their land. That’s how they showed their appreciation.

Then the settlers (from Europe) imported slaves because of their greed and they were too lazy to do the work themselves and too stingy to pay others to do it. So, they paid for slaves and forced them to work, treating them worst than some of their animals and when Lincoln finally acknowledged they were just as human as their white counterparts and declared so–legally–the haters–the white haters still found every justification to rape, lynch, burn the people and cheat them out of land.

We know that hatred abounded then and now with the Jim Crow laws that kept Black people segregated and limited their use of bathrooms, water fountains and hotels and restaurants. White people lied about Black people and justice was a joke since a jury–if used–was all white and usually, the white people just decided to lynch a person “accused of doing wrong” whether evidence proved it or not.

And now we’re dealing with the haters still–those white people who claim they’re afraid their race will be diminished by people of color. So to make sure their race “remains pure” they’re plotting to kill every person of color in America because they think–people of color have somehow kept them from–jobs, happiness, whatever–I don’t know how they justify their false premises–since they have always had opportunities to do things denied people of color.

Hatred is ugly and despicable. It’s roots are found in a person’s insecurities and in those who know how to manipulate others into believing a lie. The leaders of hatred and bigotry really hate themselves and because they feel impotent, they plant and nurture seeds of hatred until people begin believing that everything they don’t have is the fault of a person of color.

There is only one planet that we know of so far that is habitable for human beings–earth. We’re all here–one race–the human race–bleeding the same color. Though there are those who will continue to hate no matter what because it’s easier for them to do so, I will continue to love because it’s easier for me to do so. I hope others will continue the fight against hatred and bigotry everywhere they go.  We know The Word tells us that whatever is in our hearts is what will rise to the surface and overflow from us. Love makes more sense and so much easier to do than hate. We must continue the fight against hate.

My fight to eradicate hate will continue all the way to the White House as I encourage people daily to look within and recognize truth, not enabling lies nor allowing anyone else to pacify or enable false premises. We must be willing to accept truth about ourselves before we can speak truth to others. I am willing to be used by God and willing to serve all Everyday Americans and I will continue to seek support for my run to the White House.

Thank you for considering all that I’ve said over the years and for your willingness to support a True Believer and a True Patriot who wants what’s best for all Americans and one who promote peace and harmony for all other countries as well.

The Turn Around!

Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed–without remedy. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth. By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down. Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet. Evildoers are snared by their own sin, but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.  The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern. Mockers stir up a city, but the wise turn away anger. If a wise person goes to court with a fool, the fool rages and scoffs and there is no peace. The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity and seek to kill the upright. Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end. If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked. Proverbs 29:1-12 NIV

It is time for us to turn our situation around in America. No one should have to lose their life because of hatred, but we know–historically–that if we continue to ignore the obvious, more lives will be lost. We cannot hope to achieve any greatness by hating or promoting hatred. The bigotry that exists in the hearts of those who claim to know God, must be extinguished and never allowed to re-ignite flames of hatred.

For some–turning from their hatred–the seed that has been planted and nourished by ignorance and lies and sprouting and spreading through their lips–the journey to a pathway of seeing truth and admitting wrong will be a long one, but not an impossible. one. In order for a person to receive truth, they must desire truth and remove all the lies so truth will grow. I’m reminded of tending a garden. As long as the weeds are left alone, nothing of any substance will have room to grow. Lies are the weeds in our lives that must be uprooted so there will be room for truth to grow and change minds and hearts. 

If anyone claims no knowledge of what hate can do in a nation, they haven’t been paying attention. Bigotry and hatred have existed in this country for centuries and it would appear that since it has not been totally eradicated, we will have to deal with it until it is. Right now, starting with every individual–there must be a concerted effort to eradicate hate and plant seeds of love to turn this situation around!

Bigotry and hatred (and greed) were the impetus for slavery in this country.

Bigotry and hatred were the seeds planted that rose up against efforts for equality between the races and genders in this country.

Bigotry and hatred are bred in the soil of ignorance and insecurity and fear in this country and fertilized by unwillingness to accept truth.

Bigotry and hatred continue to exist when people are close-minded and unwilling to consider they are not always right about anything.

As long as we are resistant to communicating effectively with others, willing to sit down and listen to views that are not like our own and recognize we have a right to disagree, but we should learn to do so, agreeably.

We all have choices to make–right now, in the coming days, and for the rest of our lives. We can choose to live in peace and harmony by loving one another or we can choose to live in chaos and strife, allowing hatred and bigotry to reign and destroy.

I don’t know about you, but I choose to love and I have repeatedly stated that we can accomplish all things with love in our hearts, but the only end result of hatred and bigotry is destruction. I will not play a part in the destruction of a nation, but I will do all I can to build and stabilize the nation with love.

Knowing how to love and loving does not mean I have to agree with things that are not right and I won’t. Loving means telling people the truth whether they want to hear it or not, and whether they receive it or not. I will not stop speaking truth to power or promoting truth to all who are in my social media communities and everywhere I go. No one has to agree with me; I accept that–but as God reveals clarity of His Word to me–I will promote it, no matter what happens. And our current political climate is weighed down with such hatred and bigotry by those who think they are superior to others that we need to learn how to turn this around. I’m willing and I hope others are, too.

We don’t have to wait to 2020 to see a turn around in our nation, we can start now and strengthen our resolve to live in peace and love and in 2020 by choosing to elect a person who is willing to serve for the benefit of all Everyday Americans.

Yesterday, I posted a poll on Twitter about why people hate others. The options were: inbred from birth, experience with others, or propagandized fear or all of the above. I anticipated that not many would respond because if they did, they would have to spend some time in thought–getting a grasp on why they hate others.

The intent of the poll was to do just that–make people think! I see so much hatred in social media posts against people that they don’t know, but feel justified in making really horrible comments. There are groups threatening a civil war simply because they don’t like the fact that many Americans and MSM don’t agree with the current administration in Washington. They’re actually threatening a march on New York, armed with assault rifles because they don’t like what the newspaper publishes–truth based upon facts uncovered.

Then, for no apparent reason–Kayleigh McEany decides to broadcast her racism by referring to people living in Nigeria in huts and continuing the birther nonsense against President Obama. Now, I get it–I really do–just about anyone speaking on behalf of 45 is speaking to an audience of one. They do what they know will pacify his ego and stoke his hatred for Obama and Hillary. That is simply a very sad, pathetic existence to have–to live allowing hatred to color every thought and to my knowledge–neither one of these has ever done anything to him. Oh wait–Obama made fun of him at correspondents dinner and Hillary told the truth about him. Yeah, that should justify hatred of them; it’s not like they murdered or raped family and friends, or went out of their way to destroy his reputation (he did that on his own).

Hatred because of disagreement is misplaced at best and dangerous at its worst.

We do not have to look alike, think alike, dress alike, worship alike, or speak alike–we are all created by God, blessed with differing gifts and we should be able to accept and embrace the differences–loving one another because God is Love! For any Republican to claim to be a Christian and yet have not the love of Christ in their hearts for all people–they lie.

Though we disagree about issues, we must agree that we are all human beings and that we are capable of exercising wisdom and settling down to reason with one another–not using the opportunity to stir up hatred against others. Our disagreement can be expressed without hatred and when people don’t want to face truth about a situation or people–that is still no reason to hate the ones who bring truth to light. We must learn to disagree, agreeably–without planting the seeds of hate.

There is a simple reason for me to discuss hatred.  When people hate others they don’t even know–it’s because they have no love for themselves. Whatever is in our hearts, that is what will come to the surface, spilling over into everything we do–whether it is hate or love. I’d rather keep asking God to “refill” me with love rather than allow hatred to seed and grow in my heart. Perhaps, this is why I don’t understand hatred–there’s no room in my heart for it.

In our current political environment, we see so much hatred in policy proposals, actions and attitudes of people who are white against those who are brown and black and none of this hatred will ever bring about greatness for any of us–only unconditional love–compassion for all, will ever truly make us great.

I’m capable of unconditional love–promoting truth and not lies–and serving the needs of all Americans because I understand that Raising The Standards for Everyday Americans–financially and spiritually and culturally will make the greatest difference in the lives of all.

They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination. Nehemiah 6:9 NLT

This is what I feel watching GOP attempting to dismantle the ACA and risking the lives of millions of people. They are consumed with a 7-year promise to repeal ACA (out of hatred for President Obama) and not even paying attention to their constituents who now understand that the “hated Obamacare” is the needed ACA that many depend on to use. This is what happens when people lie and allow hate to reign rather than wisdom and the love of Christ. GOP–with Mitch McConnell leading the way was determined to obstruct President Obama and make sure he was not able to accomplish anything–from day one. In spite of the obstructionist attitude and behavior–President Obama was able to accomplish much and all of it–the GOP are now determined to rollback, throw out, and eliminate–because of hatred.

The GOP hated Obama, trump hates Obama and with all that hate–there can be no room for love–just hate and hate as we all know destroys utterly and completely. The GOP will be destroyed utterly and completely if they don’t wake up and pay attention to their constituents and not the crazed idiot in the WH (I cannot bring myself to call him a “man” because he has not demonstrated that he is one. So, if you’re upset with me now, you’re going to be upset with me for a long time).

In spite of the hatred against ACA and Democrats in general, I will continue to pursue the path to the White House, never giving up, no matter what the idiots do.

My family’s history–has provided a record of endurance, courage, boldness and determination. They were brought across the ocean, ripped from their families and only known culture. They were denied identity other than what the “white man” wanted them to have. They were treated like sub-human beings, forced to work on empty stomachs, never consideration. They were freed by the signature of Abraham Lincoln, but kept entangled and bound by fear and hatred by Jim Crow laws.

Civil rights laws have yet to bring an era of true freedom for the Black Community and with the GOP in position of the majority in Congress, we are taking a regressive route in the 21st Century rather than seeing forward movement as it pertains to positive race relations in this country. Hate crimes are on the rise against anyone with “brown or black” skin tones, different religious beliefs, and misogyny is also on the rise. All of this is a result of gullible people (with hidden hatred of those who are different than them) who voted for the greatest fraud and con artist who ever lived–trump.

Though many may feel there is no hope–I will never give up and I will continue the good fight of faith–in service to my country and fellow True Patriots who understand that every American deserves equal treatment in all things. We will Raise the Standards for all Americans.

We Can Never Get Too Much Wisdom

Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. If we read one segment of Proverbs on a daily basis and meditated on what Solomon is saying to us, we’d become wise enough to know–truth when we see and separate it from the fictional lies–offered as “alternative facts” and get America back on track to being as great as she is. Wisdom abides in the soul of the ones who came before us when they have learned their lessons well and share them so we won’t make the same mistakes.

Our recorded history–world history–not just American history, should be lesson for us all to keep the evil of greed from leading an entire country in the wrong direction. Truth is a beacon of light that shines in dark places and finds every niche and cranny of evil trying to hide in the darkness and exposes it. 

Evil–in the person of alt-right groups who think they can defend their savior by threatening CNN hosts and their families. They are cowardly bullies, just like their savior–and though they claim to be Christians (most of them), they are no more Christian than my dog and I don’t own one. Only evil and those influenced by it threaten to harm others simply because they cannot make people think the way they do. Wickedness resides in the hearts of those who encourage evil to run rampant and there is no place for love for hatred has taken root, and sucked all the life out of the person who may have been headed for greatness, but allowed evil to get in their way.

My prayer, for all those who exercise their right to freely express–in print and broadcast media–their findings of research and opinions on matters that affect the nation–is that every news outlet will stand–in lock-step, and not be moved–reporting every evil that surfaces and exposing those behind it. Most of us–as Patriots, stand behind the 1st Amendment and support a free press to keep our government accountable to the people.

For those who don’t understand the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution or Bill of Rights, as some have demonstrated, let me remind you here:

Comfort Is Ours!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves we receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. As I read this, I am reminded of the daily struggles and uncertainty many feel with our current situation in Washington. But I want to encourage all to know, that no matter how dark and ugly things get, know that there are millions of people working to right the injustice that we have endured with a rigged election.

From the beginning–I understood when trump screamed, “it’s going to be rigged! They’re going to steal the election,” I knew he was referring to his team. I didn’t know how, but I knew it would be those who supported him who would help with the election rigging. And I said so, though there were some who tried to convince me I was wrong.

Now, we see unfolding, daily just how it was done. It has already been determined that Russia was involved because they favored trump and hated Hillary. The players–Flynn, Manafort, Page, Ryan, McConnell, Kushner, Burr, Sessions, DeVos and others are all being exposed, one-by-one and it will be revealed how trump conned 63 million people into believing he cared about them.

Don’t despair! Be comforted in the knowledge that truth–not alternate facts–will prevail and even many of those stalwart surrogates are beginning to cave. I watch their body language and even though they try to defend the indefensible, it’s beginning to wear them down. Kingston, Miller, McEnany, Scott, Dennard, and others look frayed as they try to convince–there is nothing to expose in the #trumprussia investigation. We all know by now when they’ve reached the end of their delusional defenses, when they leap to…”but Hillary, …but Obama” refrains.

The end is near (but near is relative in a timeline controlled by others) and we will all be able to breathe a sigh of relief when we get all the con artists out of the White House and put into prison. While we wait–know there are millions praying and actively involved in making sure this type of travesty never happens again. Our phone calls to legislators, emails, postcards, tweets, are making an impact and we will not be ignored. Now is not the time to give up; now is the time to dig in, taking a firm stand against the wiles of the enemy who governs from the WH and reigns on Capitol Hill (the high places Paul warned us about).

Comfort is available for all who stand firm in their beliefs and their actions to fight against tyranny and fascism. We will win–one way or another!

Great Love!

Great Love!

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. How great is the love The Lord has for us! His love–so great–that it covers our sins and forgives us, giving us chance after chance to get living right for Him!

Now The Lord doesn’t “cover” our sin so it is hidden; He covered it with His blood that we might be washed clean, emptying the desire out of us to disobey and filling us with commitment to obey. That is not to say we become perfect at any given time, but because of His everlasting, enduring love, we walk in faith, knowing He will correct us when we stray from the path He determined for us.

Are we on the right path–paved with love?

There is a common, foundational belief that whatever is in us is all that will come out of us. Therefore, in order for us to walk the life path of love He has destined for us, we must be filled to overflowing with His love–allowing the love to flow onto others, saturating them until there is no room in their hearts for hate. So, if hate is what we see coming forth from people it is because that’s all they have within their hearts.

How do we change what we see?

Our lives should be “squared” with love, hope, faith and integrity–so that all that escapes from us is an illustration of what is in us. So, if anyone is lacking in love, hope, faith, and integrity, meet up with those who have demonstrated an unyielding love for others and pray that all they have within will be grafted into your heart.

Without love–we will not care for others and make decisions that are best for all.

Without love–we will not see the needs of those who dare to think differently than we do.

Without love–we will not see that all human beings deserve respect.

Without love–we will not understand that there is no superior race of people.

Without love–we will not understand the power of words in what we say, type, write, tweet or wear on a T-shirt.

Without love–we will not appreciate the diversity of cultures that surround us.

Without love–we will not live to be of service to others.

Love understands and reaches out with hope, speaks with integrity and builds relationships with faith.

Hate destroys.

What’s in your heart? Whatever is there is all we’ll see and no matter what is said, actions always speak louder than words.

Remember, there is no greater love than the love God has poured into us to share with others.

Serving others always begins with love, endures with love, and ends with love.
