Don’t Allow What’s Seen To Move Your Faith!

Don’t Allow What’s Seen To Move Your Faith!

“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24 NKJV

Too often, even Believers in the Most High God, allow what they see to deter them–if only for a moment. It only takes a moment for the enemy to ignite doubt and cause people to lose sight of their faith in God.

In order to be effective ministry and in succeeding with all God has put on our hearts to do, we must not allow the surface–superficial events of the moment–to deter us. We have to develop a like-minded attitude that kept Paul moving forward–even when he knew his destiny would end in death. He was determined to finish what God had started in him and so too should we, be just that determined.

Let’s face it–death is part of living and since most of us don’t know when that’s going to occur, we should simply concentrate on doing what God has put in our hearts to do–promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, love everyone we meet, and stand firm on The Word of God. Nothing–not political foolishness, not decaying, aging bodies, not the bigotry of the ignorant, not the attempt to demonize Believers or others, not the lack of respect for those in authority, not the doomsday prophecies by false prophets, not the deliberate mangling and distortion of The Word, not our personal situations–nothing–absolutely nothing should deter us from having faith in God, trusting Him and Him alone.

“He who began a good work in us, is faithful to complete it.” We simply stand at the ready to be used by Him, trusting all that He does.

No matter what happens in the balance of this day, the coming weeks, months or years; no matter who is president of this country or any others, our focus must remain on what God has called us and qualified us to do–our faith in Him–never wavering.

When the politicians fail you and the statues and beads don’t respond, and no one else is available to rescue you–who you gonna call?

I’m calling on the name of Jesus–daily–believing that all He has determined for my life will come to pass, no matter how things look and this is what all Believers should proclaim and not worry about the other stuff. When we do what we’re supposed to do, God will handle the outcome.

Stand Firm!

“Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God” (Philippians 1:27,28 NIV).

In Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi, he encouraged believers to stand firm in the knowledge that no matter who preached the Gospel or what happened; their faith would all work for the good of those who love Jesus.

The message is still relevant today–no matter what happens in the world, we should always conduct ourselves in a manner that is worthy of the gospel of Christ (nothing done that we need be ashamed of). With the turmoil and chaos in the world–immorality and total negation of God’s Word, we who know the truth must stand firm–even in the midst of ridicule and scorn from those who have no clue. We know and we must stand firm in our belief–Jesus came, died, was buried, and rose again–that we might have eternal life.

Stand firm in your convictions of faith and don’t be moved by the scorners because we know what their end will be. Don’t allow the liars to convince you that your belief in God is misplaced. They do not know Him, have no clue as to what His plan for humanity is, and they certainly do not understand the influence they follow–the father of liars.

Don’t be afraid of what the enemy attempts to do for he has no power over you as long as you remember that “no weapon formed against shall prosper” and that “we can do all things through Christ Jesus!” If the Lord reigns in your life, let Him lead you in all things and let no one cause you a moment of doubt. “For he who doubts is double-minded and shall receive nothing from God.” But “no good thing shall be withheld from those who love the Lord.”

Let the unbelieving go their way, if they will not hear and adhere to Truth. Their end has already been established and their behavior should in no way affect what you do. Stand firm, united by Holy Spirit, promoting the Gospel until the day He returns, without fear or doubt, knowing our mansions await us!

Immovable Faith!

“I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken” (Psalm 16:8 NIV).

No matter what happens in life, we must remember who we are and what we have in Jesus!

Throughout the course of any given day, the enemy attempts to get our focus off God and to keep our focus on a situation–usually a challenge–over which we really do not have any control. If we focus on the challenges, instead of focusing on the One who can overcome any challenge, we often begin to doubt and lose faith. Whenever we start saying things like, “if this happens…” or “this might happen” or “maybe this will happen” we allow the enemy room to place doubt in our hearts and doubt and faith cannot reside in the same place at the same time.

No matter what “it” is, we can say with confidence that “God will” take care of us.  We might not be able to see how He’s going to do anything, but we must stand immovable in our faith that “He will” do it. We must change what we say about our situations.

When we get a negative report from a doctor, we must say, “Jesus, I am healed by the stripes You bore on the cross. Your healing virtue is flowing through every part of my body right now and I receive it.

When the bank account gets low and we don’t know what to do, “God, You are more than able to handle my finances because all the riches are in You and You have given me the power to get wealth.”

When friends turn their backs on you, “What a friend I have in You, Jesus. You never leave me alone and will never forsake me!”

When it seems like all is lost, “God, You know everything there is to know about me and I trust Your love for me. All is well!”

We must speak to our situations, based upon the Word and then allow God to have His perfect will in our livesStand, with immovable faith on God’s Word and watch how He brings about changes that no man or woman could ever perform.

Keep your eyes on Him and know that He is always, right by your side. No matter what the situation is or what it looks likeGod can handle it and with His strength, we can do all things well, to His glory!
