Evangelicals Are Tired Of Living!

Many Evangelicals have conned their congregations into believing God determined that Donald J. Trump should be president because he would usher in the second coming of Christ and they believe that establishing an embassy in Jerusalem will bring it to pass. In essence, they want the end to come based upon John’s revelation which means they’re tired of living.

When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth–Gog and Magog--and to gather them for battle. In number they are like sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10 NIV

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. Revelation 21:6-8 NIV

There is a great deal more that is revealed to John, but since I’m trying to make a point about the lie perpetuated by many church leaders, I won’t spin my wheels trying to extrapolate it. The bottom line is–since the Evangelicals believe trump is the impetus to bringing about the return of Christ–they are also acknowledging he is anti-Christ (Satan, the devil) because according to scripture, it is when Satan is loosed and most of us–Christian and non-Christian believe trump is the epitome of the anti-Christ because nothing he does–is Christ-like and certainly does not reflect his belief or willingness to do as Christ would do.

Now, many may argue my point and that is certainly their right, but I’ve never seen anyone as divisive, vile, and ego-driven as trump or his idolatrous worshipers who are filled with hateful bigotry. They are the ones who need to be concerned about the end since they will miss heaven. What they have overlooked is, there will be no “new Jerusalem” until all the old has been destroyed and at that time–there will be no need for walls or war–because the reference is to our lives in heaven.

I can’t speak for every Born-Again believer who truly conducts themselves as followers of Christ, but I can speak for myself. I am appalled at the atrocity Evangelicals have instigated by lying to their flocks. They have misled and misdirected so many people into believing the lie that many are prepared to “kill others” because of their idolatrous worship of trump. But I am not their judge, God is–the God of heaven, not the god of this world who has deceived them and is now, laughing out loud at their folly. They may not see it, yet, and may not even see it before their demise, but it will be noted in the books of history and certainly noted in the records of heaven.

The Evangelicals in the 21st Century–are the contemporary Pharisees who are not interested in all developing and maintaining a life with Christ–doing good, but in controlling what people think and do. They have been deceived and are not willing to admit their mistakes and tell people the truth. They don’t have to tell people the truth; there are many of us who continue to tell the truth–Evangelicals have lied to their congregations and are apparently, tired of living. Well, since they’re tired of living, they should effectuate their deaths and leave the rest of us alone. The end will come–but only when God decides, not them. But we have to give them credit where credit is due–their choice (not God’s) in supporting trump is leading to the destruction of the earth and God will hold them accountable for that.

For the rest of us who are not tired of living, but have hope in the future and a desire for our children and grandchildren to enjoy the planet–we have work to do and we don’t have time to wait for if we delay–for any reason–we perpetuate the nonsense being spewed by those Evangelicals who are tired of living. It is time to Resist the evil that confronts and unite to conquer the evil with love and compassion, driving out all the hate and bigotry.

When The Enemy Raises his Head!

“There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides across the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, ‘Destroy them!’ So Israel will live in safety; Jacob will dwell secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew. Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.” Deuteronomy 33:26-29 NIV

Have we forgotten that we who Believe have been adopted into the family by the work on the Cross? We are spiritual Israel and have access to the same promises made to the Children of Israel before God came down from heaven in the likeness of man. We have no need to fear what the enemy might do–we simply need to maintain our focus on Him who is more than enough–to keep us protected from anything the enemy might plan.

This is why it is important to know–who is really a Believer and who is simply cowering under the banner of Christianity--fearful of everything and promoting their fear to anyone who dares to listen. There is no need to fear with Jesus on our side–He is more than the world against us, so why do Christians become fear-mongers, allowing fear of “what might be” to keep their focus off the One who does not change His mind about what He desires for us?

If we truly Believe God’s Word–we have no need to fear anyone or any event. The enemy’s job is to use fear and doubt as a tactic or strategy to make sure people focus on their situation or those things going around them rather than looking up–for our help comes from The Lord!

The enemy has already been defeated with the bloodshed of Jesus Christ and He has given us power to keep him under our feet. So why don’t we? Why are we listening to men–who fear their own shadows, who promote hatred and bigotry faster than they can breathe? Why are we allowing the fickleness of man to deter us from knowing that God wins in the end and for those of us who trust Him–rather than man–we also win!

Some may trust in horses and chariots–the tools used in the battle, but I will trust in The Lord–for He is watching and He knows all about our troubles! The battle is not ours; it is The Lord’s and He cannot be defeated!

Spiritual Israel!

“So the LORD will cut off from Israel both head and tail, both palm branch and reed in a single day; the elders and dignitaries are the head, the prophets who teach lies are the tail. Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray” (Isaiah 9:14-16 NIV).

Sometimes, when trying to understand the events of the day, we have to look at the events of the past and know that the same God who allowed things to happen then, is the same God of today and tomorrow. When God is angered due to our disobedience and refusal to heed those who warn us, His wrath falls–upon everyone–until a remnant returns to Him.

God has always used the few to save the multitudes. He had Gideon cut down the size of his army from thousands to mere hundreds. He saw the faith of Joshua and Caleb who were bold enough to speak out of faith rather than fear.. He used Elijah to cut down false prophets. There has always been a few–faithful and committed to pleasing God–who turned to Him and He heard their pleas and honored them.

We are Spiritual Israel–every Believer has been adopted into the family and are spiritual descendants of Abraham. So, whatever happened to Israel in the past, is recurring today and as long as the multitudes defy the Living God, tragedies will continue to happen, until God chooses to hear the remnant, again.

There are some days when I only want to write “positive, uplifting, encouraging” words, but when I know that God is speaking to my heart, I have to be a voice–speaking what He says, reminding people that He is yet alive and sees all that is happening in our midst and for the most part, He is not pleased.

Therefore, I will remind the leaders–of all nations–that God is watching everything that happens and He is not pleased with those who deliberately mislead and cause the people to follow evil and wickedness. This includes elected officials, dictators, church leaders, and heads of households. Anyone in a leadership position that is not leading the masses per God’s instructions shall incur His wrath. Those of us who know God and how He sees things must be the remnant to seek God’s wisdom and intercede on behalf of the masses.

We are His people–called by His name–and we shall continue to pray–that all will hear and obey and seek His face and do all things according to His wisdom. He will hear us when those in leadership repent and confess their error in misleading people and then, He will heal the land and we shall abide in His peace! Glory Hallelujah! For all who are Spiritual Israel and know what we must do in this time–for all of Israel. For whatever happens in Israel shall happen to the world.

If we don’t turn to God we shall see His wrath unfold in even greater events that lead to destruction of the masses for He will not allow His chosen to suffer long. Spiritual Israel–The remnant that knows–it is time to seek Him, turn from our wicked ways, and obey Him, only!

Are You The Ones?

“Those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes, who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against contemplating evil—they are the ones who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. Their bread will be supplied, and water will not fail them.” (Isaiah 33:15,16 NIV)

No matter what some people about those who do everything in their power to live right, God’s promises never fail. Even though, the righteous have to deal with the same things as those who live ungodly lives, God has a plan to save those who honor His Word and those who don’t–will be left to suffer the consequences of their actions.

When I look at the world and the chaos that abounds, I gain greater understanding of those things the prophets said–warning people about their behavior and associations. History–if not remembered and lessons learned from it–has a way of repeating itself and we see this every day. Everything that was prophesied about the descendants of the Children of Israel is falling into place. The hatred between the brothers is being played out right now in Israel and Gaza, Syria and Afghanistan–all because of jealousy and envy. How foolish we must appear to God to not have learned our lessons well! Could it be that those who read the Words of the prophets read them in unbelief? Or is it stubborn nature that makes us foolish in our attempts to “prove ourselves” to others?

Whenever we think we are better or superior to another group of people–disaster is bound to come upon us and others because of our pride and ignorance. It is pride and ego that leads us to believe in our own superiority and ignorance of the truth of God’s Word that makes us believe that others are inferior. This prevailing attitude often results in people cheating others, misusing and abusing people, lying, and plotting acts of violence and murder against others–superiority. Is there anyone really superior to another? When it rains–does the rain not fall on everyone at the same time or does it just fall upon those who think they are important?

Isaiah has said it well and it would profit all of us to remember that God is not a respecter of persons. His Word is truth and His promises are for everyone–the righteous and the unrighteous–shall receive their just reward for their deeds committed in the earth. I’d rather live with the understanding that I’m better off seeking God’s wisdom than man’s wisdom; doing what God decrees instead of what man commands; and speaking what God speaks rather than changing what God has said to accommodate man’s ever-changing perspectives about God and what He has said.

I pray that God will see me as one who speaks what is right, according to His Word, and doing what is right always in His sight. I pray the same for all who love the Lord and have decided to live according to God’s Word. Are you the ones?

Unfailing Love!

“Pour out your unfailing love on those who love you; give justice to those with honest hearts.” (Psalm 36:10 NLT)

There are some, who have confused God’s unfailing love with those who “love conditionally.” Those who love conditionally, are selective about their objects of “love” and withdraw the love any time the object of their affection dares to disagree with them.

This may seem a little scattered, but after an exchange of interactions this past weekend, I’m trying to sort out how some think that killing people–because of differences is justification for their doing so and they think that God condones the killing.

God’s unfailing love is never withdrawn from those whom He loves. That does not mean that He condones ungodly behavior; it simply means that He will allow us to suffer the consequences of our actions, loving us all the same.

When parents discipline their children, they do so because they love them. If they didn’t love them, they wouldn’t have rules and since there would be no rules, there would be no need to discipline.

Love–this simple four-letter word–so unlike many other four-letter words–is the key to peace and happiness for everyone–whether  we disagree or not.

Without love–we hate, we kill, we molest, we abuse, we misuse, we manipulate, we do inhumane things to humans and then wonder why the world is in the shape it is in.

With love–God’s unfailing love pour into us and we pour onto to others–we are considerate, we are kind, we are patience, we are compassionate, we find ways to help others, and we always “think before we do”–anything.

And the worst part of the interactive exchange is that others professed to love and know God and His Word, but yet “in their minds” were wishing death upon those who dared to defend themselves in the conflict in the Middle East. I don’t understand. How can anyone say they love God and yet wish death upon His creation–for any reason?  If a person truly loves God–they understand that God is not mocked in any situation and those who are guilty of ungodly behavior will receive their “just reward” from Him–not others.

His unfailing love–disciplines and rewards–justly (not fairly) because He is sovereign and consults no human being–ever–about His plans for mankind.

Pour out Your unfailing love, O God, upon all who know and understand You and how You do what You do. Create in us a heart to receive all the love You pour upon us so that love will overflow onto others who may not know or understand You. Help us to understand that love is the key to peace for all people and not just some. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

 

Israel–Always Part of God’s Plan!

“But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you.
O Israel, the one who formed you says,
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1 NLT–Read entire chapter)

No matter what has happened, historically–God’s plan for Israel has always been revealed–in His Word and in what He does.

We tend to forget–in the Western World– (not sure that others ever knew) that God has never uttered a word that He did not intend to be established in the heavens and never changed by man–even though we try.

Since I cannot condone hatred of anyone, by anyone, I must admonish those who think they can destroy what God has already planned–for His glory.

Hatred of people–simply because of envy of God’s chosen people–is never acceptable nor is the plan for mass murder of people who simply do not think the way others think, worship how they worship, or even pray how they pray. Every individual on God’s earth has a right to worship Him–however they choose–without interference or decimation by others. Who do people think they are to “think for God?”

God is not impressed with stupidity or the thought that “virgins” will be a reward in heaven. There will be no need for “sexual encounters” in heaven because we will be “pure spirit-beings” and will function as such. No need for food, water or any other “human-fleshly” need.

How anyone could possibly think that the dead will need anything is beyond me–but then–that’s because I believe what God has already said,” the dead know nothing” (Eccelessiastes). The saddest part of watching the crisis in the Middle East is that it will continue until Jesus returns and then–only then–will we all know the truth, but it will be too late for those who have been led to believe a lie.

 

Father, in the name of Jesus, guide us into understanding of Your Word through the words of the prophets of old and Holy Spirit speaking now. Help all to understand that You have always had a plan for Your children–both naturally and spiritually–and Your plan will prevail in the face of all adversity for no weapon formed against us shall by any means prosper. We thank You for hearing and answering prayer and guiding those in leadership with wisdom from above–so all will know–You are God!

What Can Your God Do?

“I am doing this so all who see this miracle will understand what it means—that it is the LORD who has done this, the Holy One of Israel who created it. “Present the case for your idols,” says the LORD. “Let them show what they can do,” says the King of Israel” (Isaiah 41:20,21 NLT–Read entire chapter for context).

The prophet outlines for the Children of Israel what God will do for them and then tells them why–“The Lord has done this” and then–he tells them the false prophets to “present the case for their idols” –false gods.

For those of us who know and have experienced the miracles of God–healed when sick, raised from the pits and lifted to greatness, understand how the poor are fed when all hope appears to be lost, we know that it is The Creator God who is capable of making a way out of no way.

But there are those who “worship idols”–athletes, celebrities, spouses, jobs, all manner of things and people who have not “created” from nothing–anything. They have not created mountains, oceans, the sun or moon, or anything else that we can see–from total nothingness. There are some who have manufactured things from the things already here, but they have “created nothing” and people worship them as gods.

They have no case to present because the case–before God–would be flawed and full of holes so wide a person could fall through them. Mortal man–demonstrates foolishness at the highest level–when they worship things created by the hands of man, giving them more power than Creator God. 

I don’t know about your god, but my God is awesome!  He can move mountains, hide me in the rain, shelter me in the valley, heal me when I’m broken, deliver me from the desires of the flesh and lift me when I’m down for the count and raise me to greater heights than I could have ever imagined. He can open doors, no man can shut, and close doors no man can open. He gives sight to blind and makes the lame to walk. He provides whatever I need when there is no provision and He never leaves me alone–He is always with me! Hallelujah!

Now, what can your god do?

If your worship and praise is reserved for the idols of this world because of their fame or fortune--how will you present your case to the Living God who will judge all we do, one day?
