Regrets–We’ll Have A Few!

Regrets–We’ll Have A Few!

So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” Genesis 6:7 NIV

“I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the LORD all that night. I Samuel 15:11 NIV

I can only imagine who is regretting their support of the White House maniac. I didn’t vote for him, but I do regret not working harder for Hillary and to expose all the false propaganda published about her. I did what I could, but perhaps, I could have done more and we would not be in the outhouse, now!

I know there are some who have regret voting for him because they’ve already expressed “buyer’s remorse.” They realize, a bit late in the game, that hatred is never an appropriate reason to either not vote or vote for a person who made it known–he was a jerk.

Are we allowed to have regrets? Absolutely! God expressed His regret over making mankind, but fortunately for us–He repented of His thoughts and left behind a remnant to replenish mankind. Although, looking back at all we’ve done to make a mockery of His love and in destroying the planet, I wonder if He regrets leaving us here, again.

At then Samuel, bless his heart, when he heard the Word of The Lord–regretting making Saul king, he got angry. You see, here’s the thing. God speaks to all who are willing to hear Him and sometimes, we won’t like what we hear. Now, we can either act on what we hear or not–our choice since God doesn’t force anyone to do anything.

Have the White Evangelicals admitted regret for lying to people and promoting an absolute traitor to this country? Some have, some haven’t. When analysts from Fox News, throws up their hands–it’s time for everyone to take notice at what’s really going on in the White House.

It’s not that difficult to figure out–Vladimir Putin owns donald trump aka John Barron aka David Dennison aka Rumplethinskin and aka–treasonous traitor. Whatever Putin has on him has him petrified. I can imagine–every time someone calls the White House–he soils himself–thinking that might be the last call before total exposure–what he’s done–hits the fan.

The real problem–is not learning what hold Putin has on Rumplethinskin–is knowing we could end up in war as a distraction to keep us from learning what it is. Desperate people do desperate things and we know–Rumplethinskin is not capable of thinking beyond the moment–so there will be no consideration of the consequences of his actions for America–just like there has been none with the implementation of extraneous tariffs on China. The Consumers will pay and pay dearly. Feeling any regrets now?

If regret is not an emotion being felt by the masses (at least the 35%–his base), give it a minute and then start crying for your sons and daughters who will dies in a senseless war because you elected a person (can’t call him a man) with no sense.

If we make it to January 2019, we’ll have a chance to survive. If we don’t–I won’t regret trying to warn people even though the evidence may disintegrate in the nuclear fallout. That’s something to think about because once started, nothing good can come from a nuclear war and certainly, no opportunity to regret–anything. It will be too late.

Well, I’ve certainly learned my lesson–about trying harder to prevent catastrophe–I’m not giving up my quest without a fight–a fight to restore the good name of America and our rightful place on the global stage.

We do not have a president at the moment and our elected Congress–has no balls or integrity or we’d not find ourselves in the position we’re in right now. But there is a Little Known Educator who has a remedy.

benefits

When everyone gets out to vote in every election from hence forth, the vote should go to whoever is running as a Democrat in order to save the nation from the authoritarian fascist that wants to control this country as a dictator.

Attention voters

If we all work together, setting aside differences–we can do this–set America back on track–without risking our freedoms–or leaving them in the hands of one (in this case–two).

EA Interests

Don’t live with regrets–get out and vote and encourage family and friends to vote for the party that cares about all.

The Heart of The Humble!

The Heart of The Humble!

“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar. “Two things I ask of you, LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God. Do not slander a servant to their master, or they will curse you, and you will pay for it. Proverbs 30: 5-10 NIV

The heart of humble speaks!

Think for a moment about the speaker in this passage of scripture and then read the entire chapter. Agur–acknowledges his human failings and speaks to them to others.

He understands The Word of God and warns people about attempting to change it.

He understands that lies and falsehoods–however they are cloaked with deceptive language are not acceptable.

He understands that neither riches or poverty will make a difference in how God treats people.

He understands what most people–especially our politicians, don’t–the deceptive practices–on behalf of both parties–are not acceptable to God.

Though my thoughts this morning were not to make a political statement with the scriptural reading, this fits so well, especially in light of the so-called, “regret” uttered by a person who smirks as he speaks. No humility shown whatsoever and no real apology made about all the things he’s said. And in the next breath, focuses his attention on his opponent to talk about her.

What was even more amazing to me was to see his new campaign manager, lie with a straight face, but her eyes gave her away along with the false smile that didn’t come from within.

The humble heart–speaks from the heart–and the sincerity is seen and heard. The humble heart–when it knows a wrong has been committed, will apologize–specifically–to the wrongs done. The humble heart–seeks private as well public exoneration of any act in which they are sincerely sorry about and want to make amends. The humble heart–does not seek public attention for acts of charity or compassion. The humble heart–knows God and wants to please Him, not people or a political party.

That’s what the humble heart does!

When we see what people do–in the public eye–we know whether or not they  have read The Word, understand The Word, and live The Word. We know, by what we see and hear–who truly has a humble heart and who doesn’t.

Americans are smarter than some give us credit for. We know humility when we see it and when we don’t.

Leading a Regret-Free Life!

Leading a Regret-Free Life!

“Therefore, from among the men who have accompanied us during the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us —beginning from the baptism of John until the day He was taken up from us — from among these, it is necessary that one become a witness with us of His resurrection.” So they proposed two: Joseph, called Barsabbas, who was also known as Justus, and Matthias. Then they prayed, “You, Lord, know the hearts of all; show which of these two You have chosen to take the place in this apostolic service that Judas left to go to his own place.” Then they cast lots for them, and the lot fell to Matthias. So he was numbered with the 11 apostles. Acts 1:21-26 HCSB

All of us have to make decisions on a regular basis and sometimes, we allow our feelings to interfere in the decision-making process. Whenever we allow feelings to guide us, we’ll end up with regrets. The only wise avenue to pursue in making decisions is to pray first–then listen to Holy Spirit and lead a regret-free life.

Considering the magnitude of what the disciples had to do–spread the Gospel–when they had to replace of their number–they didn’t just allow their thoughts and feelings to guide them–they prayed and waited for Holy Spirit to show them who to choose.

While some have made choices–especially in choosing leadership positions in churches–based upon affiliation or familial connections–and sometimes expectations to serve a personal need–there is usually turmoil and confusion as an end result because no one consulted The Lord. The wise, mature Christians–who understand The Word, know that no decision regarding the functioning of a church should be made without prayer. And while praying, people need to be open to hearing Holy Spirit so there can be no doubt that decisions are made with the guidance of The Lord.

Decision-making without Holy Spirit direction leads to misunderstandings, confusion, and eventual dissension among the masses. Within the church (body of local believers), no one person or clique should ever be allowed to make decisions or influence others in the process, that impact the entire church. This is especially true in those situations where no one is living according to The Word and none are filled with Holy Spirit to even know when He’s speaking. If people do not know The Word, they cannot function according to The Word.

In life–every aspect of living–this premise is also true. We make decisions about marriage, jobs, education, having children, traveling, moving from place to place and whenever we leave God out of the midst of our decision-making–we usually end up regretting the decisions we make.

Now, we are entering a time of decision-making in which every born-again Believer–must seek God’s direction in electing the next president of this country. We cannot allow feelings and emotional baggage to hinder or interfere with our hearing Holy Spirit. We cannot allow the media portrayal of candidates to persuade us, so we must depend on our knowledge of The Word, the evidence we see and hear as to whether or not the individuals actually know God, and we must pray, continually. We are told in The Word that we should pray without ceasing–never making a decision until we hear from God.

If we allow Holy Spirit to guide us in all–not some of our decision-making–we can and will live a regret-free life, but we must start now–to pray and not just ask, but hear from The Lord and act on what we hear from God–not the media, neighbors, family or friends, but only from The Lord.

Take a Little Time!

Since tomorrow is not promised to any of us, take a little time to enjoy The Lord, family, and friends.

Stop and look at the cloud patterns–use your imagination and journal what you see.

Stop and look at the changing colors of the leaves and marvel at how great our God is.

Stop and watch the animals preparing for colder weather.

Stop and take a deep breath, enjoying the ability to breathe.

Stop and listen to your children and actually “hear” what they are saying.

Stop and listen to your spouse and let them know you hear them.

Stop and take the time to read  or re-read passages of scripture that enlighten and encourage.

Stop and take the time to talk to the Father, prepared to listen to what He has to say.

Stop and take the time to smile at a stranger.

Stop and take the time to let friends know you appreciate them.

Stop and take the time to cook and enjoy a great meal.

Stop and take the time to relax and do absolutely nothing.

Stop and take the time to read a good book.

Stop and take the time to take a walk and enjoy the view.

Stop and take the time to reflect upon the very moment in which you live because it will not come again.

Take a little time to enjoy the life you have. If tomorrow comes, begin again, by taking the time to enjoy it and if tomorrow doesn’t come, you will have enjoyed your last day!

Stop and think before you react and know that God loves you and so do I!

Take a little time to consider what has been said!
