Where Are The Watchmen? (Part 1)

Where Are The Watchmen? (Part 1)

Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their head. Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchmen accountable for their blood.‘ Ezekiel 33:2-6

Every born-again believer is called to be a watchman for the rest of the world. When we see danger coming, it is our responsibility to sound the alarm and warn the people. When we don’t do our job, and people are harmed, God will hold us–who refuse to sound the alarm, making sure the people are warned of impending danger–accountable for all loss of life and any harm to others.

I take God’s Word seriously and have been sounding the alarm for months. Some have derided my attempts to warn, some have listened, but many have ignored. The time is coming and it is soon approaching where every man, woman and child will have to make a decision in resisting the impending doom about to fall upon America and our democracy. We can submit and succumb to the fascism looming, or we can resist and remember how we came to be in the first place–fighting back to protect our freedom.

I won’t belabor the point, but I would encourage any and all reading this post to read all God said through Ezekiel and to understand the importance we all play. I don’t mean shouting from the rooftops, “The sky is falling.” I mean exclaiming to all you meet and greet and interact with on social media that a plot is afoot to deny Americans basic rights–freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to vote for our choices, without interference. Don’t take my word for it, read the independent publications as well as the Main Stream Media publications. Knowing is half the battle; how we win depends upon what we do with the knowledge we obtain. If we do nothing, we get nothing; if we act upon what we receive, we make the world a better place for all.

So, what are you going to do? I’m going to continue fighting back, alerting everyone that the Republican Party has been compromised by white supremacist groups and they desire that no brown or black people reside in this country. They are fearful of having “white skin tones” obliterated and are in dire straits to protect and preserve “white privilege” at the expense of the others–without regard to the fact that we are “one human race” established by God, not men. They are guided by hatred and bigotry, not love and they observe religious activities, but do not have a relationship with Jesus.

I’m Living to fight all the way to the White House so everyone will know–there is a voice speaking out and up for the Everyday American who loves all and recognizes all life as precious–regardless of the outer complexion.

Why Jesus Said, “Whoever Lives By Belief In Me Will Never Die!”

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25,26 NIV)

Within John’s record of the life of Jesus, Jesus says, “believes” fourteen times and in the rest of the New Covenant, it is mentioned eleven other times. Of course in the King James Version, the word believeth is used (meaning the same thing) and occurs in both Old and New for a total of forty-five times. Since I’m expounding on what Jesus said and why, let’s take a closer look at why belief is so important.

Whatever a person believes–has immoveable faith in–good or bad, that is usually indicative of how a person lives. If they believe in a horoscope–they live their life according to the horoscope. If they believe Oprah Winfrey is wiser than God, they live their life according to Oprah. If they believe than one political party is superior to another, they live their life supporting that party and criticizing the other. If people believe they’ll become rich by gambling, they gamble on a regular basis (and the lottery is gambling). If they believe that God’s Word can ever be changed to pacify fleshly dictates, they live their lives doing whatever they want because they do not understand–God’s Word never changes and neither will His judgment.

But let’s get back to what’s taking place in Jesus’ life when He said what He said. He had been that Lazarus was sick and instead of going to him immediately, Jesus delayed his departure. He told his disciples that Lazarus was sleep and they thought he was just asleep because of sickness. Jesus then told them, he was dead.

John 11:15-24

v. 15 And for your sake I am glad I was not there, so you may believe. But let us go to him.

v. 16 Then Thomas (also known as Didymus) said to the rest of the disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

v.17 On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days.

v. 18 Now Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem,

v 19 and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother.

v. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home.

v. 21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “If you had been here, my brother would not have died.

v. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.”

v. 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

v. 24 Martha answered, ” I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

And after Jesus asked her the question about what she believed, she said, she believed. I can imagine the heartache Martha felt over losing her brother and some have said (their interpretations of her statement) that she was accusing Jesus of waiting too long to come to them. She didn’t understand the magnitude of what was about to happen, but she believed that Jesus would take care of it and He did.

Jesus waited until Lazarus was dead and buried so that all who observed Him would witness the miracle and share it with others. He simply looked unto His Father and then commanded Lazarus to come out of the tomb and he did. Faith–can move mountains, cause the dead to rise and the sick to recover–if we will only believe–have immoveable faith in Him.

Lazarus rose from the dead to live again, but we don’t know how long he lived until he succumbed to natural, then. What we do know is that all are appointed a time to die, naturally, but those who believe Jesus is the resurrection and when He returns, the dead shall rise and the rest of us caught up with Him, shall live for all eternity in heaven.

We simply have to believe–having faith in Him–and not man’s suppositions about death and dying, sickness and disease, sin and holiness. If we believed and lived our beliefs in Him, the world would be in a much better place. Do we believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Do we believe that His blood, shed on the cross at Calvary, was shed for us–that we might have access to heaven, through Him? Do we believe that we have the power–through Holy Spirit–to live without sin in our lives? If the answer is yes, we believe, then why aren’t we living what we say we believe? Our active obedience to God demonstrates our love for Him and our belief–our immoveable faith in Him. Lord, help us!

More about what Jesus said and why, next time.

This Is How We Know!

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands” (I John 5:1,2 NIV).

John makes everything so clear to those who read God’s Word with understanding. Our relationship with God and others is all about love. When we love God, we love all of His children and we keep His Commandments of love. For Jesus told us, the fulfillment of all the commandments were encompassed in two–Love God and love each other.

When we see and hear reports of people mutilating others, killing others, abusing others, misusing others, hating and disrespecting others, undermining the authority of leadership, those who are totally wrapped up in the deeds of the devil, we know the love of God is not in some people. For if the love of God truly lived in them, they could not harm another. If we believe that God is Love and He can do nothing other than love, then we must know that all the deeds of darkness are designed and deployed by the devil who promotes hatred of anything that God loves.

This is why, it is so easy to detect counterfeit Christians. They say one thing–proclaim they are Christians, and then by their very actions, demonstrate they have been deployed by the devil in everything they do. Instead of praying for leadership as we as followers of Christ are told to do, they mock and disrespect the leadership of this country. Instead of praying for peace, they promote violence and killing under the guise of protecting constitutional rights for owing guns. Guns don’t kill people; people kill people with the guns. Instead of loving all unconditionally, they promote hatred of anyone who disagrees with them, and all who do not look or act like them. Instead of defending the rights of the poor and the needy, they promote foolish legislation that demoralizes and dehumanizes those in need. They have either not read The Word in its entirety or they have not read with understanding based on a love relationship with God. They profess a form of godliness that does not include the attributes of God.

Counterfeit Christians have made a pact with the devil to carry out his diabolical deeds. They have resolved to kill opportunities to help those in need, steal from the poor to subsidize the rich, and destroy any opportunity to resolve differences in civilized ways. They are deceptive and mislead others with false advertisements, yet they masquerade as the guardians of America, when they do everything they can to tear down Americans. All of these traits are indicators of Satan’s influence in their lives.

Until we see  the love of God overflowing in everything they say and do, those who are truly in relationship with God, need to pray that God will reveal Himself to them and they will have an experience leading to learning to love.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for all who profess to know You, but have not received the Love You have for them. I pray they will receive, learn how to love and then love all, unconditionally and promote love, not hatred for the rest of their lives. I pray they will teach their children and grandchildren and all who know them how to love and not hate. I pray for peace in the nations all over the world and declare it done in Jesus’ name.

What Love Does!

“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us” (I John 4:12).

Love is perfected in us, when God’s love abides within

Love does covers (eradicates) a multitude of sin

Love seeks to do good to all – children, men and women

Love chooses to do what is right, hoping everyone wins

The battle against the enemy who does not know Love!

When we truly love God and allow His love to live large in us, we cannot seek or hope for the failure of others. We do wish bad things to happen to those who we simply cannot agree. When we love we do disrespect those in authority because God tells us in His Word that we should pray for those in authority.  If we are disrespecting people, we certainly are not praying for them.

I do not agree with a great deal that the President and Congress, governors and mayors, and many others in authority are doing, but I certainly am not promoting hatred because I don’t agree with them. I am so weary of all the hate-filled propaganda directed at the President by so-called Christians who are making a mockery of truly being one. It is obvious to me that those who proclaim to know God have no clue since God is love. The Tea-Party faction has proven without doubt they have no true knowledge of God or they would cease their promotion of hate. I pray that God does a mighty work in their lives so they can see themselves as they truly are. They certainly are not ambassadors for Christ when they hate without reason. But then again–the religious groups hated Jesus without cause, had Him arrested out of envy and persecuted out of hatred, and they unwittingly were fulfilling God’s plan so that no one has ever forgotten the name of Jesus!

Love promotes goodwill towards all, not hatred. Love looks beyond our faults and sees the potential to rise above circumstances and be victorious in all things. Love prays for those who have lost their way. Love never ceases to encourage others to love like God loves–unconditionally.

Father, I pray that all who are promoting hatred will cease and desist. I pray that You will forgive their sin and fill them with love overflowing so when they look in the mirror, they will understand who You are. I pray for those in authority all over the world, that they will seek You and Your wisdom in governing all people. I further pray for every born-again believer–encourage hearts and strengthen them to stand against every evil that arises against You and Yours. Help us to understand that the only superior race in the world is the human race and that is because of Your love. In Jesus’ name, I pray and declare–all is well! Amen!

Wickedness in Washington!

“This is what the wicked are like— always free of care, they go on amassing wealth” (Psalm 73:12 NIV).

Thank God for His Word that keeps us from being amazed or astonished at the things that occur in the land!  What we are seeing right now–at the hands of “greedy” politicians–has already been foretold.  When reading the first eleven first verses of this Psalm, it would appear to be prophetic in nature because we can “see” it coming to pass right now!

Notwithstanding my refusal to claim allegiaince with one political party over another, I do see politicians as the enemy of the poor and needy; especially those Republicans who profess to be Christians and yet do not do the things we have been commanded to do.

First, they attempt to starve those who already have limited resources by cutting their ability to eat.

Then, the very people who need healthcare–preventive care–to keep down hospital costs, are being denied the right to have access to it because of greedy politicians to want to sustain their connection to those in the insurance industry who have aligned themselves–financially–with them.  Their actions–holding America hostage–in order to maintain their supporters borders being anti-Christ.  They need to do the job for which they have been elected–keep government moving in the right direction and not standing stagnant, stinking.

For those who affiliate themselves with the “tea party” and claim to be Christians–be very careful of mocking God! For truly, it is He you mock when you refuse to take actions that would support the poor and needy above your own concerns of amassing wealth. You, as a party, are not supporting the needs of all people, but your private agenda and God will deal quite thoroughly with you–in just a matter of time. History has a tendency to repeat itself and those who oppose God by not doing what He says, have reaped the consequences for their actions.  The Tea Party has demonstrated they have no relationship with God, but with foolish religious ideology that makes them blinded and callous. They (TP) have spent so much time hating a president simply because of his skin color they have forgotten to address the needs of all people: job development, tax reform, climate control, etc.  If people had jobs–earning income–they would pay taxes and increase tax revenues.  This is where the real effort should lie–not in creating obstacles for those who really care about all the people.

O God, how long must we tolerate those who are indifferent to Your people–all of us?  How long will it be before You reveal Yourself to them in ways they can understand–diminishing their wealth and the attention they so love?  How long Lord, will the people have to suffer the indignities of those who are so arrogant and prideful that they forget–whatever they sow, they shall reap? How long Lord will it be before You leave them powerless and stunned at their loss because they refuse to consider all people?  How long Lord? How long?
