What Do We Have?

“Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and from Jesus Christ—the Son of the Father—will continue to be with us who live in truth and love.” (2 John 1:3 NLT)

When we live in Truth and Love,

What do we have?

Grace, mercy, and Peace!

Who is it from?

God, the Father, and Jesus Christ!

When do we have it?

Now!

How long will we have it?

As long as we live

in Truth and Love!

How long?

As long as we live

in Truth and Love!

How long?

As long as we live

In Truth and Love!

Whose Truth?

God’s Truth!

Whose Truth?

God’s Truth!

What Do We Have?

Grace, Mercy, and Peace!

What Do We Have?

Grace, Mercy, and Peace!

When do we have it?

NOW!

Now that we know what we have and from whom we have it, why can’t we live what we say we believe? If we know we have grace, mercy, and peace as we CONTINUE to live in God’s Truth and in His love–why is there so much hatred and violence in the earth? Do we really know what we have with Jesus governing our lives? If we do–let’s act like it and encourage others to receive His grace–unmerited favor for we cannot earn it, His mercy–for not giving us what we truly deserve, and His peace–that surpasses all understanding and provides an environment where hatred cannot exist.

Why are waiting for peace when we already have it? We just need to exercise living in truth and love!

An Open Prayer For All!

“But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (I John 4:8 NLT).

If we say we love God, we should know how to love others–not hate.

When we allow hate to replace love in our hearts, we do not honor God.

For all who hate-others and God–this prayer is for you!

Father, in the name of Jesus,

I pray that You will move upon hearts today

Speaking love, In a very special way.

I pray for those who hate others because of political affiliations.

I pray for those who hate others because of ethnic origins and race.

I pray for those who hate others because they are gay or straight.

I pray for those who hate teachers, preachers, accountants, and lawyers,

And any other career or skill set they do not have.

I pray for those who hate because of their feelings of superiority about themselves,

And for those who hate because of their feelings of inferiority against themselves.

I pray for those who hate others because they are Muslim or Christian,

Catholic, Jew, Gentile, Buddhist, Baptist, Pentecostal, or whatever faith they proclaim.

I pray for those who hate because of some are male or female.

I pray for those who hate children and women, men and themselves.

I pray for those who hate redheads, blondes, brunettes, and raven-haired,

For those who hate others because they have straight, curly, kinky hair, long hair, short, and no hair.

I pray for those who hate others because of their height or girth, their humor or lack of one

I pray for those who hate because some have too many children and some have none.

I pray for those who hate all who don’t agree with them and for those who hate because they cannot agree with anyone.

I pray for those who disdain others because of their imperfections and flaws

Not seeing themselves because if they did, they would see and know their own imperfectness.

I pray for those who hate any living thing because so much hatred abides within their heart.

Lord, I ask You to cleanse the hatred from their hearts, and replace it with the abundance of love

You give to all who will receive it and allow it to overflow from them onto others.

Lord, for when You fill hearts with Love, and we learn to Love like You love,

The violence will cease and we can all live in peace.

All this I ask and believe we will receive it in the name of Jesus,

And according to Your Word, whatever we ask in Your Son’s name will be given.

I thank You for hearing and answering this prayer and all prayers of those who know and love You!

Amen!

When You See This!

“When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hand of the LORD will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes” (Isaiah 66:14 NIV).

The thirteenth verse of scripture states that, “The Lord comfort like a mother” (paraphrased) and all will see this. Moving on to the next verse, we are told what will happen when we see this.

Our hearts will rejoice–overflowing with joy.

We will flourish like grass–keep increasing year after year and look good (if well-kept and cared for).

Everyone will know that the hand of The Lord guides us and keeps us safe from harm and directs our success.

And…His enemies–those who openly oppose Him–deny His existence and disobey His Word–shall know His fury!

I don’t know about you, but I plan to remain His child and receive His comfort and never, ever become one His enemies!

When we know we are doing the right thing for all the right reasons–we can expect to see His blessings in our lives. But for those who choose not to do what is right, they too can expect–to see His fury.

When I look at our society–on a global level–I cannot help but wonder whether some of the extreme weather conditions we see are the result of His fury–against those who oppose Him. Now, notice I did not say that the weather is a result of His displeasure; I said, I wonder.

No matter what anyone thinks or wonders-we only have to look back at history to understand how God operates–when sin is in the atmosphere, it tends to shake things up and everyone not willing to change their ways–creates an environment that leads to destruction–of many!

So, when we see–the violence that escalates in countries, nation against nation, brother against brother, parents against children and children against parents, disrespect of self and others of such magnitude that children could not possibly understand moral ethics when they do not see any–from anyone–especially those in the public arena. When we see the changes in the environment that threaten the very existence of whole communities, do we understand why or do we just continue to accept sin as a way of life and do nothing to preserve humanity?

The choice is ours–we can receive His comfort or His fury. What are we going to see?

When we see the need to honor and respect--The One who created all things and without whom, nothing was ever created, we will see His comfort–love, mercy, grace and changes in the atmosphere–peace in the land–confirming and justifying our faith in Him.

Generational Recipient of Love!

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments” (Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV).

God is keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who “love Him and keep His commandments.” I’m in the fold of the thousand generations! How do I know? I love Him and love others–no matter what–fulfilling the commandments of love!

Some might say, “Yeah, right; sure you are!” How can anyone love everyone with so much hatred in the world?

This is how I do it: I have learned to love me, first–doing all the things that would not cause me harm, but doing those things that would lead to greater physical health and peace of mind. After I read God’s Word, studied and meditated upon it, and realized how much He loved me, I didn’t want His love to be squandered or unappreciated so I changed my way of living along with my attitude towards people.

The more I discovered about how great a love He has for me, the more I loved Him. Now, I try always to do those things that please Him, so He will know without a doubt, how much I love Him.

Because I willingly received His love, I have an abundance of love overflowing, seeking those who will receive love from me. It’s not easy! Some people are filled with so much hate for self, God and others, they miss seeing love (not lust) when it is presented to them. For these, I love them enough to pray for them–praying they will receive God’s love and learn to love self and others. For those who receive the love, I encourage, however I can–to always seek God first, have faith in Him, and know that they are loved, no matter what event attempts to deter them from loving.

Do I like everyone I love? Absolutely not! God does not always like the things we do, but He never stops loving us. I don’t always like the things my children or grandchildren do, but I never stop loving them. The same is true of people I know and those I don’t know (globally). I know how to love whether I like a person or not. Again, when I see problems, I pray–for wisdom in rectifying a situation and the courage to get it done. Telling people the truth when they do not want to hear it, takes courage and wisdom and I always try to hear God before I do or say anything.

It’s not too late to become a generational recipient of love–just learn to love God and keep His commandments–the commandments to love Him and others.

Put It Down!

Whatever is keeping you from getting where you want to go, put it down.

Whatever is causing confusion in your home, on your job, or in your community, put it down.

Whatever leads you to think you have a right to take a life, put it down.

Whatever leads you to think you have a right to physically abuse someone else, put it down.

Put down the crack pipe!

Put down the weed!

Put down the cigarette!

Put down the alcohol!

Put down your hand (fist)!

Put down the gun!

Put your ego on the shelf, start listening to those who are wiser than you, and start doing what is right in the sight of God–not you! That is–if you want put down the devil and his evil ways!

Just One Thing!

If there was just “one” thing you could do to make a difference in the world, what would it be?

Would you feed the hungry?

Would you house the homeless?

Would you establish world peace?

Would you stop all the hatred in the world?

Would you encourage everyone to love one another?

Would you create riches for everyone?

Would you provide a quality education for every child?

Would you abolish gun manufacturing?

Would you create a potion to stop child molestation and abuse?

Would you create a mandate for “parent training” or licensing?

Would you supernaturally find a cure for all terminal diseases?

Would you encourage independent thinking and reward those for their consideration of mankind over personal gain?

Would you create a society of people who understood right and wrong and lived a righteous life?

Would you promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Would you share a testimony as to how good God is?

Would you share this post with others, just to make them “think” about just one thing?

While you’re thinking about that one thing, have a blessed day!

I Just Don’t Understand

How on earth can we as human beings disregard the life of another?

How can we maim, disfigure, and kill children and those we say, we once loved?

Why do we need an assault weapon to defend our homes when the truth of the matter is, if someone breaks in while we’re at home, the first shot will (for those with any sense) scare off any others?

Why does any sane person need more than gun in one household?

Are we so insecure within ourselves that we have to prove something to others?

What do we have to prove and why do we need to prove anything to anyone else?

Why would a mother leave two young children alone in a home at night?

Why couldn’t a neighbor be trusted to look after the children?

Are we so wicked that none can trust us to look after children to keep them from harm?

Why can’t fathers take care of their children? After all, the children did not make that decision to be created or born?

Why can’t mothers love and nurture the children they brought into this world?

Why must the media report everything so that everyone will know exactly how to undermine whatever is being planned?

Why can’t we–just love one another–care for one another–be respectful of one another–regard all life as sacred–be mindful of the fact that however we live our lives and how we do it, will determine our fate and what we will receive from others?

“Beloved, let us love one another.” If we love, we won’t hurt, discourage, kill, or disparage others. If we love–we will be loved. Tell someone today that you love them, while you yet have a chance!
