What A World!

When we look at the world today–with the advent of every news report, from just about any news outlet except Fox, we hear the “noise” rattling around in the emptiness of something more substantial to quench our thirst for awareness. The blustering, bullying spewing from the mouth of the twitler, if not stopped, could create catastrophic disaster and will lead to lives being lost–and not just Asian lives, but American lives–in the vicinity of the other idiot.

Every time I see stupidity in action and the Republicans supporting the stupid, I am reminded that though they claim to be Christians, they have no relationship with Christ and are certainly not familiar with God’s Word. Though they claim to preach the Gospel and teach Sunday School lessons, I’m convinced the gospel they preach is not of Christ and the Sunday School lessons have nothing to do with Christianity and how we are to live for Christ–doing things the way He would do them. In fact, the more Republican lawmakers make claims or reference scriptures, the more people are turned off from them since no one sees them “living The Word,” they just reference it–in an attempt to convince some of their great religiosity. And that’s all it is–a superficial attempt to convince by being religious, and having no clue what it means to be in Relationship with Christ.

For this reason–we may see America involved in a military engagement that will have no victors, just devastation. In a nuclear war, there are no winners and everyone loses. We lose the potential to advance peace, we lose ability to employ diplomatic policies, and we lose the respect of all those world leaders who are standing by–waiting to see how the fallout will affect them. We lose!

Many are tired of the bully posturing and though there are others who think the rhetoric is a signal of strength, we all know twitler is a school yard bully thinking everyone should cave to him. He’s bullying lawmakers, and his cabinet and others, but he will not say a mumbling word against Putin because he fears Putin. Bullies are insecure people who know they have no real strength and they’re always looking to make themselves to be more than they are. Bullies are not God’s idea; they are the result of people not being loved and disciplined as a child, never being held accountable for their actions and growing up thinking they can make others do what they want them to do.

What twitler needs to understand now is that he is not a monarch or a dictator and he can’t make anyone do anything. Republicans need to come clean with America and admit they gave into the temptation to having power and all the money they received from Russian donors was not worth the mess we see right now. They are complicit in keeping silent about a situation they had to know–in order for twitler to win the rigged election. What individuals need to do right now is to defy their pastors who tout twitler as God’s choice, stand up and speak out–analyzing truth against the fictional propaganda promoted by trumptrain and Russian comrades. America needs every true Patriot to stand up and speak out, now while we have an opportunity to do so, before it’s too late to change the course of bully policy.

If we survive to see 2020, America will have a better opportunity to see this country led by and for the people with me as the voice of  Everyday Americans. I will lead by example, always speaking truth and bringing other Everyday Americans to the table in making decisions that affect all. We know what we need and we don’t need those who have never experienced the challenges we face to make decisions for us.

When Hatred Drives The Narrative

There is therefore, not much need for me to say much more, but I do want to focus on how this segment from Proverbs–reveals why we have the current climate in Washington that we have.  If we look at what occurred prior to the 2016 Election and during it–and actually see “without the hate-tinted glasses” we understand how tRump’s hatred of Obama drove him to run for president and the false propaganda invigorated hatred of Hillary drove people to vote for tRump.

But let’s look at this in a point-by-point analysis:

• A chattering fool comes to ruin–chattering–running of the mouth or in the case of 45, his twitter rants are equivalent of someone running their mouth without knowledge–just talk.
• A crooked path has been taken to the White House since Russian hacking and the promulgation of false propaganda against Hillary caused otherwise rational people to vote against their own interests.
• Hatred stirs up conflict–whoever holds hate in their hearts against anyone or anything, allows emotions to become the driving force in their life and it taints everything they do. From rallying cries of, “Lock her up,” “crooked Hillary,” and encouraging the production and sale of the most vile, and heinous campaign memorabilia–the conflict is obvious. Though there was at one time a “cordial relationship” between the Clintons and 45–his hatred drove the narrative that created the gap and animosity that continues to exist.
• A rod is for the back of those who have no sense–normally referencing the need to use corporal punishment for those who refused to obey, in this case--the disapproval rate of 45 should serve as the rod to bring a change of behavior.
• Poverty is the ruin of the poor and with the tax cuts for the wealthy and the programs that benefit the poor–the poor will come to ruin if they don’t wake up and smell the stench emanating from the White House.
• The earnings of the wicked are sin and death--whenever anyone increases their wealth by illegal, questionable, or immoral means--they have put themselves in a position to at some point–lose it all. God is deceived and He is watching all.
• Discipline–it is highly obvious that there has been no discipline in the life of 45 as a child and his temper tantrums have evolved into his Twitter rants when he doesn’t get his way. His greed for power and complicity in the 2016 Election fiasco has led to the ruin of the GOP leadership who went along with it to gain power for themselves.  None of them have any credibility at all since revelations are made daily about their knowledge of the Russian hacking surfaced.
• Hiding hatred behind lying–has never worked and will never work. When lips say one and actions say another–the concealed hatred is exposed for all to see and then to spread lies–because of the hatred–reveals the fool. By definition–an idiot is a foolish or stupid person.

The bottom line to all this is, Americans (the gullible) have allowed hatred to drive the narrative in the decision-making process of the 2016 Election and now–we all suffer the consequences and risk losing lives in an ill-fated bullying tactic which could lead to a war with N. Korea at its helm.

Is that the narrative we really want driven in this global environment where peace is tenuous at best, but could be destroyed forever?

There is a better driving force that makes for a better narrative and that force is love. Why not allow love to drive us on the journey to peace and prosperity for all!

 

Provocation!

But am I the one they are provoking? declares the LORD. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?“ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place—on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the crops of your land—and it will burn and not be quenched.“ ‘This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Go ahead, add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves! For when I brought your ancestors out of Egypt and spoke to them, I did not just give them commands about burnt offerings and sacrifices, but I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you. But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.From the time your ancestors left Egypt until now, day after day, again and again I sent you my servants the prophets. But they did not listen to me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their ancestors.’“When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer. Wow! This pronouncement against all who do not seek God and obey Him and is just as relevant today as it was then!

TO THE EVANGELICAL LEADERS WHO TOUTED THE #WHidiot AS GOD’S CHOICE:

Do you see what happens when God is not consulted? Do you see what happens when truth perishes from your lips and you promote lies? Do you understand–yet–how your lies and promotion of this idiot can bring irreparable harm to Americans–all over the globe? If you do not understand the danger your lies and promotion of an imbecile then you are just as responsible for what he does as he is.

TO THE SUPPORTERS OF THE #WHidiot:

Are you still giddy with excitement of his illegal win of the election? Do you see him promoting or acting on your behalf? Does eliminating your healthcare make you scream with joy? Does the possibility of losing your loved ones–both male and female–in another war excite you beyond belief because of his reckless rhetoric? Aren’t you just tickled pink that your tax dollars are paying for his weekend excursions, his children’s security detail, his wife’s security detail, the construction of a helipad at Mar-a-largo, and the launched missiles that have cost over $200 million dollars? Are you happy yet? How about those good paying jobs–have you gotten yours and aren’t you just thrilled that only the rich will benefit from his proposed tax reform? Doesn’t that make you want to just jump and shout with joy? Did you know you were also “electing” the offspring of an idiot to be in charge of policy decisions? Well, did you?

Since you chose to believe the liar-in-chief–are you ready to accept responsibility for the fact that America will never be as great as it could be because of the madman at the helm? I know you believed the lies he spouted because you voted for him and promoted all the “fake news” about Hillary–aren’t you just super-proud of yourselves?

TO THE RESISTANCE:

Don’t get weary in doing what is right in order to save us from the idiocy brought upon us by lying “religious-pseudo-christians” and the “gullible, frustrated white middle class workers” who simply didn’t know any better.

Stand firm in pushing elected leaders to do their jobs. Call, write, Tweet. Never let them forget how they got their jobs.

Stand firm in pushing the Department of Justice to dig as deep as need to dig to make sure truth surfaces about all the involvement by those in the White House that manipulated the 2016 Election.

Stand firm in your resolve to make sure, when one gets weary, another encourages and  keeps up the pace.

Stand firm in your resolve to push the media in staying focused on the investigations and not all the distractions #WHidiot is creating to delay the process.

For those of us who know–and have an intimate relationship with God–we know the truth and we will continue praying that truth will save us and will not promote false news, provoking all the other crazy imbeciles who would love nothing more than to “show us” their might.

The Word tells not to provoke God, for fathers not to provoke children and we should know better than to provoke the enemies of America with foolish rhetoric. If we’re going to provoke anything from God–let’s provoke His protection in our obedience to His Word.

Does anyone see the parallels from the past to the present other than me?

No matter how hard we try to leave God or His Word out of what unfolds on a daily basis, when we look–diligently–we find there truly is nothing new under the sun. The same wicked attitudes that prevailed in the hearts of those who turned from God (or never knew Him) exist today.

Despots–never have enough and are also willing to make deals with the devil. They don’t care about ruining a nation’s resources as long as they get what they want–attention and praise–but it all fails and God’s truth reigns.

Let’s see:

Who’s building a wall and is the wall to keep others out or us in?

Who owes megabucks to another despot who has no qualms in oppressing or killing people?

Who has incited provocation by another despot simply to create a distraction from an investigation in their involvement with the 2016 Election fiasco?

Who will not listen to those who present truth and instead relies upon those who will only tell him what he wants to hear?

God is not fooled by any of the nonsense and when it is all said and done–the truth will be revealed and those who dare to defy God and mistreat and misuse His children, will get their just reward. For The Word tells, “we will reap what we sow.”

For all the falsehoods and lies proclaimed against Hillary–we see now that the #WHidiot was merely projecting onto her that which resided in him.

He is the corrupt one.

He is the liar.

He is the warhawk.

He is the one who made money from the masqueraded attack on Syria that accomplished nothing.

He is the unstable one and unfit to serve the United States in any capacity unless he’s serving time in prison for all the heinous acts he’s committed.

He’s also the one who lacks stamina (a claim he constantly lodged at Hillary) and can’t get through a month without retreating to one of his golf clubs.

And with all the negative “Tweets” lodged at President Obama, we see further evidence of what he projected about himself. Yeah, he’s very “instinctual.” He’s not very “presidential” and no matter what he does–he won’t be.

But foolishness doesn’t stop with him–it continues on the back of those who supported him in the election and those who refuse to uphold their oaths in Congress. They, too shall know the wrath of God when they are “unseated” never to be seen in a public office ever again.  His base supporters will discover they voted against their own interests, if they have not figured that out, yet. The biggest losers will be those who believed the pathological liar about–non-existing good jobs with good pay, repealing ACA (hatefully known as Obamacare), re-opening coal mines and lowering taxes. Instead we get the decimation of everything established to protect the consumer.

If taxes are lowered–there will be no funding for schools, the poor, the undereducated, the veterans who served this country well, the seniors who worked most of their lives to support the governmental path, and the military will suffer when taxes don’t exist to pay for the costly results of an idiot. The only way, our country survives and thrives is for the most wealthy to pay more taxes so the needs of every citizen are met.

To do things any other way would be pure foolishness. But then–that’s what fools do. But don’t believe the one telling the truth–like Asa did and got angry instead. Anger will not repel God’s truth or prevent the inevitable from disobeying.

Double-Minded?

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:2-7 NIV

When people are controlled by their emotions, they risk endangering themselves and others. Yes, we should be compassionate people and concerned with the wrongs perpetuated against others, but we should never allow our emotions to guide us in being impulsive and reactive to situations. Before we do anything, at any time, we must understand all the potential consequences. And without a plan, we should do nothing and if we do–without planning–we end up looking foolish.

That’s the state of affairs that currently exist in America and probably across the globe. There are some who think conducting a missile strike against Syria without congressional approval was courageous and bold and there are others who know Congress should always decide military action against another country when it could endanger US troops or America. The bigger problem is that the #WHidiot acted impulsively and reactively (supposedly upset about children dying in Syria), but didn’t have a plan–just a reaction. Now, the world leaders wait to see what happens next because there is no clearly defined foreign policy known to anyone, including the idiot.

The fact that he claims he had the authority to act without congressional approval because it was “vital to national security” was and is a blatant lie. The United States was not threatened in any way by Assad, but our troops in the Middle East, could very well be endangered by the reactive, impulsivity of the #WHidiot.

But the even stranger part of his reaction is the “change of mind” from several years ago when he “tweeted” (43 times) that President Obama should not get involved with Syria because “there was no upside” in doing so and that President Obama needed Congressional approval to act. Considering the fact that more people (including children) were killed in 2013 than recently, I’m having difficulty understanding why the idiot had no compassion then, but wants everyone to believe he’s so upset now. I also don’t understand why some members of Congress are applauding his blatant disregard of the Constitution since Congress was not informed, nor gave approval of his actions. But I guess when he told Putin what he was doing, he had all the approval he needed.

He’s not upset about children dying in Syria or he wouldn’t have banned Syrian Refugees from coming into this country. It’s all an act to get the media to pay more attention to the possibility of an act of war than to the on-going trumprussia investigation. He knows he’s about to lose the farm. No one paying attention to the unfolding events on a daily basis believed his lie. But–his tactic worked–the media went crazy covering the strike in Syria and no mention made of the investigation. I wonder why.

But the idiot’s backpedaling is nothing new–that’s what he did the entire time he campaigned and why anyone thought he’d change is a source of amazement to me. People are who they show themselves to be–the first time out the gate. They don’t change. He’s been a double-minded, unstable, unfit person from the beginning and that has not changed. He will praise himself and belittle anyone who thinks he’s not the greatest thing that could have ever happened to America.

He’s the worst president we’ve had during my lifetime. He’s so full of himself that he only cares about those people who stroke his ego and won’t tell him the truth about anything. His enablers are afraid of him, the media pundits only care about ratings, so that leaves just a handful of us who really care enough about all Americans to speak the truth–about everything–and call out the lies and falsehoods as they present themselves. That’s love! We are not double-minded and we won’t stop telling the truth–no matter how many times the government attempts to muzzle us.

As for our GOP congress–they are equally complicit in everything that is spiraling out of control because they allowed their greed for power and control to get in the way of governing which is their job. So, they too are double-minded and unstable in all their ways (one set of rules for the Black President and another set of rules for the #WH idiot) and unfortunately, the rest of us have to deal with their unstable, unfair, decisions that impact all of our lives.

But God knows who belongs to Him and who just puts on a front. Their end is already determined and when the fall-out upends their careers, they have only themselves to blame. Karma bites.

Egos and Bullying!

Then the LORD said to me, “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north. Give the people these orders: ‘You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful. Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own. You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.’ ” The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything. Then the LORD said to me, “Do not harass the Moabites or provoke them to war, for I will not give you any part of their land. Amazing how people accuse others (their political opponents) of being hawkish about war, but then--their false outrage and pathetic ploy to show empathy in a situation pushes their ego into becoming all they said about another. More projection by the #WHidiot.

Only this time–American lives may be lost in the greater scheme of things–unless there was coordinated attempt by Putin and the idiot to use the opportunity to distract from the on-going investigation into the collusion on the part of Putin and trumpteam in the 2016 Election.

And where was Congress in this decision? Again, amazing how they, too–especially the GOP–don’t have a problem with protocol and policy not being followed–to hide their involvement in the 2016 Election fiasco.

Considering the fact that Syria has historically been monstrous to its own people, why involve the US in a military strike? What is the true motive? I believe it is simply a matter of a bully allowing his ego to reign in an attempt to flex muscle he doesn’t really have. Bravado is not muscle–it’s foolishness and the attempt to distract–from the investigation–futile. 

But this won’t be the first time. Typically–over the last 20 years, it has been a Republican who involved the US in skirmishes and wars–apparently because their egos won’t allow them to stand down and not interfere until the UN endorses involvement. In all fairness, George Bush waited for Congressional approval to invade Iraq, but one still has to wonder, if anyone consulted God. This situation–in an attempt to eliminate evil has actually led to an on-going situation in which a victory is untenable–by anyone–considering the loss of life and financial expenditure. Are we going to pay for “rebuilding once again” simply because we have an idiot in the White House?

When will Congress find their balls and uphold their oath of office? They have been deliberately negligent in abdicating responsibility in doing their job which leads me and many others to believe–they are complicit in the collusion or at least cooperation in the 2016 election fiasco.

God’s Word is true and inerrant and won’t change the course of things. If He has not been consulted before we do things–the consequences are our own.

Once again–the #WHidiot has demonstrated how unstable and reactive he is. And the rest of us–must seek God and obey so any blood shed will not be on our hands. Of course, those who elected the idiot–will have to own their responsibility in whatever else plays out because of their gullibility in believing a pathological liar.

War and Empty Words!

In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah’s reign, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them. Then the king of Assyria sent his field commander with a large army from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. When the commander stopped at the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field, Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went out to him. The field commander said to them, “Tell Hezekiah: “ ‘This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: On what are you basing this confidence of yours? You say you have counsel and might for war—but you speak only empty words. On whom are you depending, that you rebel against me? Look, I know you are depending on Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff, which pierces the hand of anyone who leans on it! Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who depend on him. But if you say to me, “We are depending on the LORD our God”—isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, “You must worship before this altar”? “ ‘Come now, make a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria: I will give you two thousand horses—if you can put riders on them! How then can you repulse one officer of the least of my master’s officials, even though you are depending on Egypt for chariots and horsemen? Furthermore, have I come to attack and destroy this land without the LORD? The LORD himself told me to march against this country and destroy it.’ ”Then Eliakim, Shebna and Joah said to the field commander, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, since we understand it. Don’t speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people on the wall.” But the commander replied, “Was it only to your master and you that my master sent me to say these things, and not to the people sitting on the wall—who, like you, will have to eat their own excrement and drink their own urine?” Then the commander stood and called out in Hebrew, “Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!  This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you! Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the LORD when he says, ‘The LORD will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.’ “Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then each of you will eat fruit from your own vine and fig tree and drink water from your own cistern, until I come and take you to a land like your own—a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.“Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’ Have the gods of any nations ever delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria? Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand? Who of all the gods of these countries have been able to save their lands from me? How then can the LORD deliver Jerusalem from my hand?” But the people remained silent and said nothing in reply, because the king had commanded, “Do not answer him.”Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went to Hezekiah, with their clothes torn, and told him what the field commander had said. Isaiah 36 NIV

Oh what lessons we can learn by reviewing history about wars and words.

Liars didn’t just start lying in the 21st Century; they’ve been around for a long time–and they lied to gain an advantage over gullible people–people easily swayed and deluded.

In this passage of scripture–the field commander–(unnamed at this point) lies to Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah in the hearing of the people–attempting to make them doubt what they already knew–The Lord would deliver them. In other words–the commander was trying to “gaslight” the people, but the people refused to answer him because they had been warned not to say anything. And saying nothing, means more than spewing empty words that will only provoke violence.

Someone should read this passage to the #WHidiot before he gets us all killed with his empty rhetoric. He doesn’t have a foreign policy plan and has never had a plan. He didn’t realize the enormity of the job in the Oval Office and thought he could make up stuff as he went. His empty words–not understood by anyone–fell on the ears of the world watching and wondering, what he meant about Assad getting a message. Representative Maxine Waters had the best advice for him, “Shut up!” He needs to be quiet and stop trying to sound tough, when he’s shaking in his boots because he doesn’t have a clue and he won’t listen to anyone who does.

While he was running his mouth, the king of Jordan looked stunned at the ignorance displayed by the so-called president of the United States. What a joke we are to those watching this ship sink!

It would be interesting if he ever did any homework about anyone he’s hosting at the White House and it would even be more interesting if he learned diplomacy and etiquette for a real leader.  Attempting to have “policy talks” with King Abdullah and his 35 years of military service compared to a repeat draft dodger–is laughable at best! The idiot-in-chief knows nothing about being in the military, procedure or foreign policy, nor does his son-in-law, or daughter. And they’re in the White House advising him because what…?

At any rate, The Lord delivered and Hezekiah proved to be faithful to the God of Heaven and remained steadfast in his belief that His God–was God.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know that we had a “modern-day Hezekiah” praying and acting on our behalf–even in the face of danger–knowing that God is not a man that He should lie?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a Hezekiah in the White House and we know because he suffers from a “savior-complex,” thinking he has all the answers and he alone can fix stuff. So the rest of us–who do know God, must pray and be faithful unto Him who is able to deliver us and not count on the #WHidiot and his empty words or we shall surely fall by the wayside.

 

Peace In The Midst of Chaos!

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and  no one will take away your joy.In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.“Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” Then Jesus’ disciples said, “Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech. Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. On a daily basis we are assaulted–through news outlets–with the woes of the world, the chaos in the White House, and even with the turmoil  in our own homes, but there is a way–we can overcome–the adversity of the chaos, by putting our complete trust in Jesus, receiving His peace and obeying His Word.

Everywhere we look–in one country to another–especially the Middle East–there is raging war, taking away peace and lives of all those living in those regions. There is unrest on the continent of Africa, in South and North Korea, China and elsewhere–and the war that rages in the United States–the calamity after the hacked election–dealing with the next phase of insults and empty rhetoric coming from those in the White House.

While most of us are not in a position to take on the world and change anything, we can take on the idiocy that resides in the White House by calling it what is is–every chance we get. We have to resist the urge to be complacent and apathetic–never letting our guard down because if we do–we will never know peace again in this land.

The enemies of the people have determined to rule without knowledge, compassion, empathy or understanding of how government is supposed to work. Instead the #WHidiot is choosing to set up a family dynasty–of totally oblivious people–who know no more than he does–to establish policy when from all that is known–their business knowledge leaves a lot to be desired.  Yes, they have money, but how they obtained the money is questionable–especially since most of it appears to be tied to Russian oligarchs. Can any of us rest–without concern–with this debacle in the White House?

Actively fighting back by whatever means possible–against the attempt for those in position to turn our democracy into a dictatorship is how we will obtain peace. There is never peace in the midst of a war until the battle is won and we will continue to fight–actively opposing and resisting–until America is seen again as a beacon of hope, not the death knoll of a planet.

And while we fight against ignorance, we must remember to nurture our spirits on the daily bread of The Word. For in it–we find hope, joy, and peace and an avenue to refresh ourselves and prepare for the continued battles on a daily basis. The peace that we receive from Jesus is not the peace as the world understands peace; it is the peace of knowing–in Him we live and move and have our being; it is the peace of knowing that no matter what happens on this side of heaven, our eternal resting place with Him is assured; it is the peace of knowing that He will lead us in the victory we know is destined by Him in keeping Satan under our feet–calling out evil whenever we see it.

We can indeed have peace in the midst of the chaos as long we remember who it is we are fighting and knowing that the enemy was defeated on the cross--long ago–and it’s up to us to keep him in his place, every time he raises his ugly head.

The Spirit of The Lord is upon us—He has anointed us to do battle and conquer the spirit that resides in those who promote bigotry and hate and we will win with love overflowing from within–saturating those we meet and greet in every venue!

Soon and Very Soon!

I am #TheResistance

Did God honor this prayer for David? Yes, He did and He will honor every prayer we pray, when the prayer aligns with His Word. Contrary to the thoughts of some about prayer and praying for others–we see in this passage–there is a time when we stop expecting God to change people. People will never change people; they only change when they see a need to change and that from within. So for those who are telling people to pray for 45--it is an exercise in futility since he sees no need to change.

What should our prayer be then? My prayer is that The Lord will bring an end to this atrocious situation soon, by whatever means He sees fit to use. I know there are those who think–“give him a chance.”

He’s had a chance to show us who he is and he has. He is a bumbling buffoon who is out to benefit himself and no one else. His billionaire friends are using him and he’s too foolish to see it because he wants to be “accepted.” He doesn’t realize that people are laughing behind his back and the only people who think anything of him are his base–the ones who are undereducated and ill-informed. They look upon him as some kind of god and can’t see what’s right in front of them. We know this is true because they think he speaks truth and the actuality is–he and truth have no relationship whatsoever. They have never met and every time he opens his mouth–the discerning majority population–know it.

While I was praying for those who are going to lose the most–his fan base–I have stopped praying for them. They want to idolize a man who will soon be cause of their having toxins in their water, air and no oversight as to what is put into their foods. They’re going to lose access to the type of medical coverage they need because they were too foolish to know–the Affordable Care Act-was deemed Obamacare by bigoted Republicans. Now, they’re fit to be tied because they screamed about getting rid of Obamacare, not knowing it was the healthcare they needed. It is really sad to see such hatred for a person that  don’t realize the good that was done for them.

Now, if we’re watching closely to what’s happening aside from the distractions 45 creates, we’ll see North Korea and Russian attempt to make a move against the United States. This is what giving 45 a chance has done.

If I don’t live beyond today, I can safely say, my destination is secure and heaven is my home. Where 45 will end up is anyone’s guess, but I doubt there will be a mansion waiting for him.

Nevertheless, soon and very soon, Lord–remove the oppressive fascist from our midst and when he is found to guilty of treason, remove any lingering doubts from the minds of any who thought he cared about–the average working people. And let his fall from grace and public opinion be seen worldwide so the world will know–we–the majority of Americans–are not like him.

Gallup’s daily poll, which is based on a three-day rolling average, has Trump’s approval rate at 38 percent and his disapproval rate at 56 percent, with a 3-point margin of error.

And though the Republican party approves of his performance (entertainment I guess), by 87%–the overall public opinion of his job performance is lower than any other president’s before him. The reality of the situation is this–45 is not doing anything other than making noise and signing whatever is put in front of him. He has no idea how to govern and others are making all the important decisions for him because he doesn’t have a clue. Then there are those who “complained about Obama taking vacations more than once a year” and this idiot apparently thinks the job of a president is a 9-5 week day only situation and has spent more time doing nothing in 4 weeks than Obama did in 8 years. And the taxpayers–those of us paying taxes (he doesn’t) are footing the bill to the tune of over 10 million dollars for the past four weeks, when Obama (who paid taxes) only spent 96 million in 8 years. Get a calculator all you loyalists and see what your loyalty to a buffoon is going to cost America!

For those who put political party before country–May God deal with you in a manner that will make you remember–the welfare of the country should always come before a party’s agenda. But if you don’t know–you will–soon and very soon! As it has been said, “Patriotism is loyalty to country–not a president.”

No Jesus, No Peace!

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)

What were the things Jesus told them? Jesus said so much to His disciples that it would be time consuming to try to explain them all, but if we start at verse nineteen, Jesus sensed the questions they were about to ask Him and He answered them before they spoke. He told them in a little while they would not see Him, but a while after that, they would. How confusing is that?

Seeing their confusion, He used the birth of a child and the pain the mother experiences and the pain she forgets because of the joy of seeing her baby. Jesus reminded them that He had been speaking to them about certain things figuratively, but the time would come would He would speak, literally and they would understand. He was trying to prepare them for His arrest, crucifixion, and ultimate resurrection. After His resurrection, they would ask whatever they wanted from God in Jesus’ name and they would have it. But with the benefits also came responsibility and in the world, He warned, we (His disciples by faith) would have trouble, but He would be with us and therefore we can have peace in the midst of trouble.

Do we really believe this–there is peace with Jesus?

When we are scorned and ridiculed because of our faith, do we have peace within?

When we experience hardships and grieve over the loss of loved ones, do we have peace within?

When we experience angst on our jobs or in our homes, do we have peace within?

If we are not able to experience peace in the midst of the trials we face, do we really have Jesus in our lives and do we really believe what He said?

The world is in chaos and much confusion and that confusion and chaos is a result of there being no peace in the hearts of those who refute and deny Jesus!

If we want to see peace in the land, we must promote Jesus!

If we want to see peace in our homes, we must establish Jesus as our source of peace!

If we want to see peace in the world, we must pray that all will receive Jesus as their Personal Savior and rest in His peace!

We can enjoy peace within as long as He reigns within our hearts. No Jesus, No Peace!
